That immense overwhelming power!!! Amazingly orchestrated piece as well as a great trumpet section. I'd love if the college I plan on going to was that good.
The minor similarities in movements between the Divas and Stingettes are very consistent and admirable. I personally think Alabama is establishing its own dance style. These two squads have emerged as the queens of sex appeal, drama, and funk. Alabama has an identity now.
Bobby Harris I respect you opinion, however I imagine that when the ASU Stingettes were working and striving to be creative with their stands, they weren't doing it for the Divas to go remix them. They were being original and solidfying a style for their organization. Not all of Alabama.... But again... Just my thoughts.
Tamera's execution style is all her own. The variations in tempo that she implements gives her a unique style that is uncommon. Indeed, she and the Divas have pushed the envelope and turned heads. Give credit. #ShredTheCopyCard
+onyxx007 I agree with you wholeheartedly people were saying they were trying to be the dolls now they trying to be s t i n g e t t e s. Tamara is very unique in the way that she dances and I honestly don't see no comparison to ASU I'm sorry two different types of dance style with the same Alabama feel
They might have similar dancing/counts but that's what they're there for, to feed off each other .. but babyyyy I guarantee the dolls/jukebox will never be like any other HBCU COLLEGE
Ooook... So they do know that a many of us noticed the blend, combination and movement styles of the Stingettes and Dancing Dolls, thrown in these here remixed counts... lol...The captain should have just thrown Asia Martin's original full count, as is... Overall, I adore the energy and definition that the Divas delivered here... The AAMU marching band sounds good, and a plus to clarity; but still an overall concert sound.
OK. I used to like the Divas; they aren't the same since Pam left, when they were in sync and delivered technique! HOWEVER, the Stingettes are NOT original. They have several Doll and J-Settes counts and remixed counts. Let's not do the Divas like that and forget about the Stingettes borrowed material.
The Divas are doing great and have made me and other alumni alike very very proud. I love each and every one of these girls for carrying the torch and adding to our legacy.
Thanks for your comment. It's something about this new team that's not like your era. I know it's a different time, but y'all looked way more polished and collegiate than these girls look today. Your era made me a fan of the Divas. I'm waiting on the day when you become their sponsor. LOL. I'm glad you're happy with them.
Sam Cook what you need to do is save your opinion and that bullshit for somebody's toilet in Montgomery, AL cause that's exactly what it sounds like a bunch of bullshit. The Stingettes didn't have to steal anything from anyone. They've always had their own swag and style, unlike the Sensational Dancing Doll Divas. They have a "We Don't Know Who We Want To Be" style with a hint of Dancing Doll and the Stingettes have their own classy, jazzy, sexy ASU Stingettes style. 2 totally different styles indeed.
IDK why you're getting some offended. LOL. There are several Doll and J-Settes counts the Stingettes do, and you're not going to debate with me on this. For instance, that iconic count that the J-Settes does to Swoop is remixed by the Stingettes. You know the exact count I'm talking about.
aamu an grambling have the same arranger. I've heard them played the same treasure fine china. Gsu from 2011 I need you now.. gsu Mary Jane arrangement those two have to have the same person or he gave aamu some stuff he been gave to gsu. But they played at least 10 of the same arrangements
they sound good as hell
The Control and techniques is consistent. Sound is balanced and horns are in tune. MMW Alumni is very proud right now.. Good Job Carlton and Team
A swac band where u can actually here the woodwinds😲😲😲
after further review of other SWAC bands this is the best arrangement.
Slaymera is back in action and Kayla is showing us the reason why she was chosen co-captain!

Agreed

I’m sorry but sex appeal will always belong to the dolls. That’s not even debatable.
They did that!
The band sounds EXCELLENT!!!!!
🤔There's not alot of stability in the captain's moves though. She's losing her balance half the time. Is that normal???
Esellajessica hell no.
More brass and aamu can easily kill in the swac! This version is the best I've heard, sounds similar to Memphis mass bands this summer....
definitely not the best version
clewis0101 definitely is.
have you heard JSU version? that joint is FIREEEEE
Xavier Miller BCU wayyyy better
Samuel Smith liesssss
this sound so good!!!!!!! #FromM4!
Ayyeeee. Sounding good, bulldogs. Just need a little more from the brass and we will be great.
They look amazing and a lot better in my opinion, they'll give every team a run for they money 😈 😇

Sound like an high school band. SU would’ve cranked this 🤦🏾♂️
Nice Jsu has the best version
Give credit. #ShredTheCopyCard
Like I think the band sounds great.. But the Divas are giving me old school 90 Doll counts...
Dance Guru Right, we really need to start a GoFundMe account so they can get their own counts, because this is sad...😒
+beyhappy lmao right 😂😂😂
Those knock off stingettes and dolls counts lol 😂

And by the way the Divas are more technical today then we were when I marched.... One of the most technical dance teams in the SWAC to be honest.
