@@huntercook6605 I don't watch the show myself, but I'm pretty sure that the matches are balanced by weight. So you can have two robots fighting one robot so long as they each weigh half as much as the single robot they're fighting.

This is such a great example of what’s cool about this show. There’s a million ways to approach a problem, with lots of tradeoffs. I never would have thought of making a drilling robot, and I love that these guys did.

There are materials designed to stop drills, sometimes employed on locks to prevent theft. I think they basically contain a bunch of string, to gum up the drill. Perhaps including armor like that would be a good idea for some of these robots.
This drill arm is more practical than a saw blade arm. The saw blade arm can usually do it quite a bit of damage, but arms usually get taken out quite a bit and he says unlike a drill that only has to drill a small hole and hope it hit something important and even if it doesn't, it could basically do the thing several times before the arm breaks. The saw blade usually does a bit of damage before breaking the arm
