what an awesome way to show how a well trained and controlled dog should behave. Take note young fellas put the time into your dog and the rewards will come if you train properly Thanx for sharing!!
Well that is a bloody awesome video so professionally done with great atmosphere . The vizsla was working a treat loved the way it stalked and obviously print is at it like an old pro. Look forward to next one
Great hunt. I couldn't imagine hunting deer in such a thick lush bush (I'm from Canada and we hunt deer in the fall when all of the leaves have fallen). Your dogs really came through for you both. I purchased the Deer Dog Blueprint from Vimeo and can't wait to start using these methods to train a dog for hunting. Keep up the good work.
Awesome Ryan! It's pretty epic hunting them up close and personal in the bush. Keep us posted and send some pics through when your dogs up and running!
Thumbs up guys and dogs I just lost a fox terrier that found opossums and would put them up a tree if he couldn't grab them I would get just about every possum great help when I was pest control for doc in the whirinaki forest
Hi Jermarl, I can see how it might look like that at a glance. We do try to carry out as much meat as we can and we value the animals and the meat. We look at this type of hunting as a good way of utilising the resource of wild deer in New Zealand. Especialy when you think about our government poisoning unknown thousands of deer every year to be completely wasted. The 2 stags harvested here are ethically killed and utilised. We hope you liked the video otherwise.
love what you are achieving with dogs I never would of thought possible gives me hope for me and my to pups for the future keep up the good work many thanks.

one of the most satisfying thing's to do, for me in this world would be to have my dog find a wounded that would other wise be wasted
That is definitely the situation where I am most thankful to have a good dog for sure.
