I know many people say that Dark Moor is not the same but this melody makes me feel so good, I´m sure it makes you feel the same way... The lyrics it has plus the music itself...
I really don't know what to think about this album...all I know is that this isn't Dark Moor. It's like where the hell did Dark Moor go and who are these guys? I'm not saying I hate this album, but it sure isn't the DM of even a few years ago.
I admit, I haven't been a huge Dark Moor fan.. ever, but I have listen through their discography during the past years and I can't see why everyone hates so much on this? Granted, I have only heard two songs from this album because I just had to see what the fuzz was about, and I am surprised and baffled on why so many hates this. Agree, it's not the Dark Moor we are use to but it's certainly not bad. It's just a band taking a different direction and it's not THAT horrible that everyone seems to think.
Because of just retarded people who want double bass drums all the time and shit ass crazy (but not elaborated or thought at all, just fast) solos. Really, many of their earlier songs sound the same, and you can really predict what's going to happen. Just people talking their asses, sure this isn't their best stage (that being Dark Moor all the way to Ancestral Romance) but it sure isn't bad, just too much playsafe.
I agree with you, though I have to say that I've lost this album a little bit over time. It's not horrible but I probably will never come back to it again just because it's not to my taste anymore.
+Fabricio Ramos da Silva They are coming from the deep space Filling me with pleasance Showing me their purity and grace I miss their just presence I've seen them in the light They were bright When they exposed their lessons They brought hope for long And made me know their song: Light is over me Light is over me And although I'm a child They have me beguiled And I trust on their fair true guide Light is over me I know they look after me Goodness is their essence So they seems to me To plenty of luminescence
Wrong. This is the exact same line-up that worked on Tarot, which is guitar player and main songwriter Enrik García, singer Alfred Romero, Bass player Dani and drummer Roberto Cappa. The bass player you hear here isn't Dani, but another random guy they hired for some reason to fill the spot during the recording, but Dani is totally with them right now and toured. Also, 3 of them (except for the drummer) also worked on Beyond The Sea. And half of them worked on Dark Moor. And I wouldn't say they lost themselves after Tarot, one could argue Autumnal isn't really that different. And I love Ancestral Romance.
Autumnal and Ancestral were perfect amazing albums though. Nobody sounds like DM. Ars and X were the 2 that were alright but not fantastic. Everything up until Ars was 10/100
+Silver Spike dark moor was much better when elisa was in the band however they have gotten better this is probably there best album since gates of oblivion
+Silver Spike I'm not saying that a band shouldn't evolve. My problem with Dark Moor is that they completely lost their essence. I can't recognize one single element of older Dark Moor here.
There are different genres of metal. It doesn't all include harsh vocals and death growls....that's just a few genres like deathmetal and blackmetal, etc. Even some of the original creators of metal weren't using harsh vocals. Hell, when compared to amon amarth, children of bodom, dimmu borgir, gorgoroth, behemoth, cannibal corpse, death, and so on....even iron maiden seems soft. Symphonic metal is actually quite a pleasant genre, that gets away from extreme metal scene, and quite enjoyable, as opposed to pop rock. Try expanding your universe a bit, yo.
Did I comment about a death, black or any kind of "extreme" metal vid??? What are you talking about?? Not having growls or a hard sound doesn't mean they are pop rock, obviously!! The fact that almost all Big metal bands became Pop Rock since around 2012 till now a days has nothing to do with a "harsh sound or growls", even more if we are talking about bands like DM, they have barely used growls on their entire career, ,this is Symphonic Power Metal. If I would be searching for Growls or any kind of noise I wouldn't be at Dark Moor¨s video. Don´t you think so?? My entire comment was directed to all big Symphonic bands; as you may not know the gender pretty well I will give you some examples: Epica, Taja, Tristania, Dark Moor (with all the pain of my heart :( ), Within Temptation, Leaves Eyes with the new vocalist ETC... Did you got it this time?
Your definition of what metal should be is hard for me to understand. Heard The Book of Souls by Maiden? That's pretty heavy. Heard Endless Forms Most Beautiful by NW? That's pretty heavy too. You should probably expand your repertory a little bit, as Rhapsody of Fire and LT's Rhapsody for example both feature a plethora of some of the heaviest stuff they've written (if you like or not is not the point). So no, I don't see what your issue is, and I don't see how is this pop rock, this is heavier than many 70's-80's rock, which happens to be the music they're tributing.
Did someone comment about Iron Maiden?? or NW?? I love LT's Rhapsody and Rhapsody of Fire it self they have nothing to do with my comment at all. And this is not a competition about what's havier than 80's rock. Is about compostion, arrangements, instruments, lyrics and guess what real commitment to the music, not creating just a product like most of the bands now a days. Nothing to do with just the sound or style like everybodie believes. 70'S and 80's rock is not symphonic metal except for some exceptions, so that's a very odd reference. But who cares this is not that important.
So you're just plain denying your statement? "Have someone realise that withing 2014 to now a days all metal music became Pop Rock? Like ALL BIG METAL BANDS, ALL OF THEM! So sad :( RIP METAL." Read carefully what you wrote there. You said ALL BIG METAL BANDS, so suddenly Iron Maiden and NW are not included there? Then say that certain bands that you don't like anymore (such as this one) have dropped the style (which Dark Moor hasn't). And I don't see how did you get to the point of saying "70's and 80's rock not symphonic metal". It's YOUR reference what's so odd here.
This is quite a departure from their old stuff from singing about Kingdoms and secret doors and shit. Not too sure if I dig this, but I like to think I can remain faithful to a band when they try something different. I'm a big Enrik Garcia fan, so.....hmmm....
Okay, I've only heard a few songs off of the new album so far, but from what I've heard I think it's actually quite good. I realize it's different from their older stuff, but I think it's still pretty good. Maybe the rest of the album will suck, but I'm pleasantly surprised by what I've heard so far. It's not amazing, but it's really not so bad.
This album makes me sad. Autumnal was their last really great record, and Ancestral Romance was good. Ars Musica has a handful of good songs, and Project X is just... not Dark Moor. Hope to god the next album redeems this band...
+Keith Wright They were awesome on Tarot, Autumnal and AR. Ars Musica sucked ass but from what I heard its an absolute masterpiece compared to Project X... Dark Moor had the potential to be a strong force in the symphonic metal scene... Wasted potential. Nothing more.
What happened to this band?! The absolute masterpieces of The Hall of the Olden Dreams and The Gates of Oblivion are long gone but at least they released solid albums since like Tarot. This… is embarrassing.
Whats embarrassing is your nostalgia blinders, so they transitioned from powermetal to symphonic metal, the band is clearly more passionate, freddie is clearly happier singing the new stuff, its like...holy shit theyre still an incredibly solid band and its a decent evolution
I know many people say that Dark Moor is not the same but this melody makes me feel so good, I´m sure it makes you feel the same way...
The lyrics it has plus the music itself...

Fantastic! I love the evolution of darkmoor and imo they had to change because the shoes they created with elise were to big to fill.
jummm... i'm still missing Dark Moor. I'll just pretend that this song never happened.
I really don't know what to think about this album...all I know is that this isn't Dark Moor. It's like where the hell did Dark Moor go and who are these guys? I'm not saying I hate this album, but it sure isn't the DM of even a few years ago.
increíble Dark Moor un aplauso desde México
That chorus is awesome! So catchy!
Great song !!Awesome Video:)!!

Some people just have to hate on stuff.
David Duchovny would be proud.
Amazing
Super group turned into ordinary one. I will stay with old albums.
Great song and great album!
come to Sacramento California
Very good
Beautiful song!
nice song...
dark moor is finally getting better maybe someday they will go back to their early stuff like gates of oblivion
Gosto muito.
diferente...mas ainda sim...muito bom !!!
good song, cool video!
awesome!
Felicitaciones buen video
perfect
GOOD JOB !
Lyrics, please.
On the booklet 😉
+Fabricio Ramos da Silva resume: BUY THE CD! XD
+Fabricio Ramos da Silva They are coming from the deep space
Filling me with pleasance
Showing me their purity and grace
I miss their just presence
I've seen them in the light
They were bright
When they exposed their lessons
They brought hope for long
And made me know their song:
Light is over me
Light is over me
And although I'm a child
They have me beguiled
And I trust on their fair true guide
Light is over me
I know they look after me
Goodness is their essence
So they seems to me
To plenty of luminescence
sounds great :)
this song reminds me some old (like 2000 years) japanese anime OP and EDs
After Tarot Dark Moor lost themselves, they changed too much.
You know they're basically an entirely different band since just before then?
Wrong.
This is the exact same line-up that worked on Tarot, which is guitar player and main songwriter Enrik García, singer Alfred Romero, Bass player Dani and drummer Roberto Cappa.

@@SirJamesDTech wrong
I just bought the album. Really iconic 8.5/10. I will cut my chest like a real man at the bench press with Project X, goddammit!
wow!
Where is Dark Moor? what happen to that living bright of harmony? in the still night of reverie? :(
0:38 - nice actress!
Good song and nice nod to Close encounters of the third kind, keep rockin!
I like the album, not power metal really, but its nice to hear and entretaining, and Dark Moor of course.
Ayyyyyyyy lmao
Do I hear a "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" reference at the end of the song?
GREEN13 yeees, I hear it too!
The chorus and the final notes are based on Close Encounters.
años sin escucharlos desde gates of oblivion....
I want to like this but it's just to mellow for my tastes.
I got to be true to myself dude. I'd prefer Powerwolf or Sabaton.
+Silver Spike dark moor was much better when elisa was in the band however they have gotten better this is probably there best album since gates of oblivion
@@seanquertinmont2760 i mean project x and ars were a transitional period where the band grew into their true selves, and you can feel it
what happened to bassist mario garcia?
Check out the deluxe edition of the album guys! It has rerecordings of some of the good old songs from The hall of olden dreams and gates of oblivion!
So they brought a child that was alive, and muffled him to death, them mourned him? Seems legit medicine.
Is it possible to write a metal song with happy lyrics that people like?
after he kissed his mom I thought he was gonna kiss the alien lol
Dark Moor without Eliza isn' DRk Moor🤣
0:21 OK, that's not CPR, that's just silly.
nice fairytale
0:24 What kind of cardiac massage is that?
They should change the name of the band... There are nothing here similar to the old Dark Moor.
+Silver Spike I'm not saying that a band shouldn't evolve. My problem with Dark Moor is that they completely lost their essence. I can't recognize one single element of older Dark Moor here.

What happened with the quality of sound? It sounds like old tape from 198x
Ayyyy lmao
Quite easy, Dark Moor singer went to Hamka, so if you want to listen to the "old" dark moor with new songs, listen to hamka.
Who is this mom? So beautiful!
+Murilo Leite Her name is Ana del Arco. ;)
kids in the block
Where are the epic song i used to love???

Why is he singing like that now? he can't pronounce s and z as if he had some teeth missing.
