"How to shoot photos like Larry Chen.
Step one, get a press pass at an event where it's really hard to get a press pass."
Don't forget the hat!
& Have equipment worth a small fortune
Machine gun Larry shoots again. Very nice
Great. I've had photos on the Nordschleife and in Spa for over three years. The atmosphere and the sound give you goose bumps. Greetings from Germany
The 12 hours, the pride of our town Sebring here. It's magnificent to see it every year
Larry Chen is the fn best
Would love to see the settings (shutter, focus mode, etc) on the pictures. Or a video explaining some of the modes/settings on a track.
that you will never get as the response to that will always be it depends on what you are looking for and the time of day where light will vary.
@@zeus.edwards2662 shouldnt prevent him telling us the setting in his situations. So we can get an idea at least.
If you know your basics you wouldnt have to ask these questions.
Not being mean, know your gear
@@orion2250 thanks for your arrogant useless answer.
my grandma watching me play forza..... "WoW! The video games looks so realistic! like in real life!" Me watching larry chen's photos...... "WOW! Those photos are so realistic! Looks like in the video games!!
He is an amazing photographer! Got to say hi to him at Gatebil in 2013, tried to convince him that mirrorless was the way to go :P (carried my K-01 which i used outside of the track, K-5 on the track)
Yes he is amazing!
I had the good fortune of sharing a hotel room with him at 2009 SEMA. Super cool guy. It was surreal how many of those rockstar drivers flagged him down like he was the rockstar.
@@FlesHBoX He is a legend :)
2018 was my first 12 hour ever. Such an epic place
I keep missing his Canon workshops! I'm gonna go one day! Promise!
Per usual, awesome content! Very cool look behind the scenes, thank you!
I’d love to learn his editing process
Man I love all his photos 👌
dude... dat look like gran turismo with 4K TV... owesome...
Was he using a Canon EOS 1D X Mark III?
Beatiful shots.
Like!
Nice
Can’t tell if this is GT Sport or real life....
Is Photoshop used to edit pictures or lightroom? Or both? Love his work
They both compliment eachother!
Is that a 1dx Mk II? If so does he shoot high quality 4K video as well?
He doesn't shoot video as far as we know on those cameras. Although he does on Instagram.
That's too bad. The mk II takes amazing 60p video. He could probably pad his wallet with high quality stock video income.
Shoot with analog will be ??
Get me inside the fence one time at Sebring.
I am wondering what focal lenght larry chen is using.
It looks to me like a 400mm f/2.8 with either a 1.4x or 2x TC as well.
Make frenz with race team-s... be respectful of properties and boundries set...do good work
Buy about 20k in good equipment
