Great video! Interesting seeing the different editing style of European bouldering films compared to the North American counterparts. Love how they go for this more homemade feel still, however I feel that the quality of the boulders often suffer slightly.

Yeah, I like the fact that there are such different styles of making climbing films. Those people who make these films still get creative and sometimes you can really make out the way how they perceive climbing differently. I really liked this one because I believe it recreated Niccolo's mood somehow (of course I can only assume so). To me it appeared very authentic, despite or maybe because of the artificial look. In contrast, I think e.g. the trailers for Reel Rock are quite cringeworthy since they are not exactly too humble about just how BADASS climbing is. That's just a matter of taste of course and I still enjoy Reel Rock as well. But I will always prefer edits like this one, which better suite my own perception of climbing.

Would’ve really liked to have seen him send that last problem. Oh well maybe next time.

Anybody get the Tarentino/Rodriguez Grindhouse film feel from the way these were shot? Very cool

OMG, this is so cool. I love the old school look, the music and the great storytelling.
