Perfect ending. Wonderful job in explaining how the different gunsights work as I always scratched my head with how the the SNAP sight worked. 10/10 video, Now I'm off to download BMS again.
Where can I find an avionics configurator profile with realistic gunsights and radar symbology? Because for example my default blk15 has eegs and blk50 has epaf radar cues.
It can install side-by-side with 4.35. But there's no upgrade/migration assist .. so, you'll have to merge over your cfg and key-file changes. As always, there are some new/changed key file commands, and new structure to the cfg files .. so it's not as easy as it could be.
It's funny how you say the EEGS is the most capable gunsight and yet you get rounds on target quicker eith the LCOS or Snap sights.😉 And it looks like you hit at longer ranges. Could just be my bias against the EEGS, always hatwd it compared to the LCOS. I think the EEGS is overcomplicated by showing you too much. The 1G cross could just be replaced by the expected pipper. MAX G pipper makes some sense and the BATR is good, though until this video I never noticed it. I think the EEGS is something that is superior on paper but in reality a bit overengineered and floods you with too much information.
I find that in a dogfight the pipper isn't necessarily easy to see. I would much prefer a giant, easily visible reticle instead of a tiny little circle. I kinda wish I could have the LCOS instead, or like whatever the F-15 or 18 uses.
@@wurfyy That is a good point, the LCOs is easily visible and has most of the necessary information on it. And I think my brain just filters the little pipper of the EEGS out, while the LCOS pipper is big enough to not get filtered. I also prefer the F-15 and F/A-18 Pipper over the EEGS.

By default the keys are *ALT + /*
I guess 4.36 is a full reinstall and you cant just update 4.35 to 4.36?
