The problem is with Wilder is that he's finally fighting guys ranked inside the top 10, which he barely ever did when he was a champion and he's now being forced to do it because he's no longer a champion in order to get some Saudi money and he's doing it while he's shot and past his best. The fury beatings took it out of him both physically and mentally. He should of fought AJ for undisputed back in 2020 instead of giving Fury a Rematch. He would of earnt more money in a more significant fight. His ego fumbled his career
@@YGee3Mx I don't disagree. AJ would of won but what I am saying is Wilder had his chance to fight for the undisputed crown at the height of his career but he chose to give fury a rematch when he didn't have too instead which is when his entire career fell apart
I'm glad Wilder and Fury had a rematch because it ended up giving us the trilogy fight which was one of the most exciting fights ever but yes I do wish Wilder would've fought AJ because it would've been an intriguing fight
@@YGee3Mx Wilder had a 100% knockout percentage after 38 fights, there is nobody who hits harder. In his prime a few years ago he probably would have beaten AJ, this last statement is my subjective opinion

This truly is an unprecedented glory age for boxing! Really really really enjoy and cherish this people! I can't commend turki and saudi enough for what they are doing, absolutely amazing job.
Deontay Can’t because he’s in Denial of what happened in those Fury fights. He fired Mark because he thought he was plotting against him and he’s trained wilder since the Olympic days. Deontay never wanted to do the road work and invest himself into learning the skills for him to be a better fighter than he is now. Retire he has had a good career made a lot of money and he overachieved with how late he started in the game and with one right hand. Lost wherever he fought the best guys but was a good fighter nevertheless.
I would suggest Bud Crawford's team or Teddy Atlas for Wilder. That being said, I would like to see Deonte retire. He earned a bronze medal in the Olympics, became Heavyweight Champion and has made a lot of money. He had a good boxing career.
Only thing I hate for wilder , is leaving mark breland & his old team. They kno him best. Untrainable , but what that taught him, teach him, preped him for a fight. Was the dangerous, explosive, fast & quick wilder. Instead of going after fury for 5ive years. 2 or 3 years prior he tried to fight anyone in the division. Even Parker, ruiz, & aj. If I'm not mistaken povetikin but it was so many failed drug tests , & years past because he already started late for his daughter. I'm proud if he retires & tries to make a come back, but please get rid of Malik. Teddy, mayweather, Crawford, breland is his best options
Speaking of Ruiz, he shot himself in the foot big time. First was when he fought the 2nd AJ fight out of shape and then pricing himself out of the Wilder fight. Andy should be right in the mix with all these top heavyweights making millions of $$$$
No disrespect Teddy. You keep referencing two thousand year old cave art of boxing. The Iliad has a boxing match in it and that is thirty five hundred years old.
zhang would of beat wilder years ago wilder hasnt been in with big strong confidabt blokes who hit v hsrd n can box a bit . every time wilder has stepd up bar old ortiz he has lost . Fury n wilder were v overated
Its true what so many people say about wilder. His ego was his demise. All the hype made him think his one punch knock out power would be enough to get him to the top. And once it didnt his career came crashing down. Fury really did break wilder in everyway possible. He should retire
If in Deonte Wilder's heart he still wants to continue boxing, he would need dedicate himself to boxing 100%. First he needs a really good trainer, maybe Teddy Atlas. A trainer that can teach him the basics. Lastly he would need to start over, fight low level opponents for several fight to build his skills and confidence.
Scott has taught Deonte nothing. Bad coaching has caused Wilder's slide. Wilder's strength and conditioning coach needs to be fired too. Deonte always looks stiff as a board with no balance.
TEddy the same guy who said Wilder would KO zhang last yr after Zhang destroyed joe Joyce and said zhang was limited...TEddy don't know ISH about boxing. OVerrated trainer. He never built a world champion from the ground up.
Its funny how people think Joshua is now all of a sudden a killer in the ring ,after beating helenius, wallin and a ufc fighter. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅. Dubois kos him if the fight happens.
LMAO. I been here laughing at the same reason. Joshua got his ass kicked by Andy Ruiz! Who nobody knew at the time. He barely won the rematch! He had it to win it on points by running away and hitting from a distance - not actually fighting. He then got his ass kicked by Usyk twice in a row and started crying, but because his promoted and management team are in the inner circle, they covered everything up for him and managed to get him 3 easy fights to build him back up (not many fighters are this fortunate). Now he is suddenly this great fighter again LOL. I also know for a FACT that Joshua and Eddie Hearn intentionally avoided Wilder all those years back. They did NOT want to fight him at all. Everybody wants to fight Wilder now because they can see he is past his best and lacking. Wilder always had heart, he always gets back up, that is why I rate him, but in all honestly he should retire because his time in boxing is up.
@@marknorwood8507 Now that we have seen more of him yes, but my point was that back then when Andy first fought Joshua most people did not know who he was. He was picked by Eddie Hearn to be a easy target for Joshua to look good in the USA.
Everyone saying he needs his old trainer has never fought... Wilder's chin is gone and it's not coming back.. if you know anything about boxing you can see Wilder os a brawler NOT a BOXER
It's time for Deontay Milder to retire before he gets hurt. Outstanding, entertaining career, especially for someone starting so late. Respect. But he has no business fighting top fighters anymore. I feel his brain is already decaying, just look at his interviews from early on til now.
What is a cornball with Carmen Spence and speak in truth that's what you want out of life it seems to me you want somebody to lie to you and tell you somebody's great when they're not I want the truth from a person with common sense I don't care if they're a cornball or not worrying about if somebody is a cornball with some high school s***
