The minute she shows vulnerability and sadness that is legitimate because of the loss of a parent, you can't show up for her and be supportive. You could have kept your mouth shut, take her shoes off, and laid her on the couch and gave her a pillow and a blanket. That's it. No harm and no foul. No comparison at all. Very mean and cruel.
