How does the Hebrew word for LOVE change the way you experience God?
I am humbled and in awe of His hesed. As a recipient of His love, I often look for ways to give love even though I can't do it to His degree. I've learned to love myself and others. I am also learning how to be patient with others.
I see a lot of God's creation lying in darkness and my heart aches for them. If they only knew the kind of love you've spoken about. With a love like this, there is no need for pride, jealousy, anger, bitterness, hatred. Thank you for sowing good seed into the earth.
I wanted to add that even though we show love by obeying His commandments (John 14:15), we don't have to constantly strive for His love or feel that He doesn't love us anymore when we stumble.
unforgettable I loved this video
It surpasses knowledge.
It changes my experience with lots of hindsights, as in 'no wonder', as in 'now I understand', as in 'ofcourse', as in 'oh wow'!! Hesed transcends everything ❤️
It means we can go boldly, without any fear or shame for what we've done, to the throne of God to ask for His Holy spirit to change us, to experience sanctification. Hebrews 4:16 Ephesians 3:16-19
AMEN THANK YOU LORD JESUS love YOU because YOU LOVE us first AMEN
The more I discover Hebrew words the more I realise this is Home for me! My roots! - it’s living! - we lost it & our language are dead! The remnants of Hebrew words is all over Ken’ani-Semetic languages! Chesed… in my mother tongue (Shona) Chese! Means “all in”. The root of Chesed… I’m all in for you! That’s God our Father to Us! Wow! 😭🙏🔥🙌🏾
Chesed reminds me of the word Cherished!
🕊Amen❤️
Thank you , I loved this video

Great teaching and sharing.Thanks
I just finished studying with Chuck Missler the Book of Hosea and what You just said is so true and I always say that the SON knows how much the FATHER LOVES the human race so HE said FATHER let me bring them back by giving HIS PRECIOUS LIFE for us if we can just comprehend the LOVE THE FATHER has for us and only the SPIRIT OF GOD can reveal it to us that's why Chuck got emotional sometimes explaining how much GOD THE FATHER LOVES us and thank You for doing this I just love the Hebrew language all though it is hard to pronounce it🇮🇱🕎🔯✡️❤️❤️❤️
Wow I was just thinking of Gods is Love thank you so much for sharing this 😊
I understand more about God and His Love because of your explanation. Thank you for sharing God’s Hesed!

Having read the KJV most of my life, I was reading the NLT and noticed that in places where the KJV would use "goodness" or "kindness", the NLT used "unfailing love", and it got me curious, because "unfailing love" is a much more powerful in my eyes than mere "goodness". As I looked further into the underlying Hebrew word "hesed", I came across your lovely video :)
Wonderful uplifting explanation of 'hesed', thank you so much 🙏
This was awesome! I wish everyone could see this video. Thank you so much for being a light in the darkness. God bless you!
This too is all GOD asked us to do and be. We fall so short .. but GOD will always be there. ALWAYS!!. 😊😊😊

Hesed is lovingkindness in the Bible.
Ahava is love (noun).
Ahav (verb) in Hosea 14:4.
The word Love was derived from Igbo consonants ('l v' pronounced as 'e loo ive', meaning 'reflecting in the divine light'). Hebrew: 'Ahavah; Igbo language: 'i hu ive Iho, meaning 'to see in the divine light'.
🤔 The real true Hebraic meaning of love is *GIVING/TO GIVE.* There no such thing as “unconditional love” in the Bible, only PERFECT (COMPLETE) LOVE that consist of an unlimited giving of whatever you need: peace, protection, provision, etc. YAH doesn’t give unconditional love because when Israel does wrong, He turns away. There are consequences to disobeying. You can’t do anything you want and still end up in his kingdom. 🤷🏽♀️ ~Shalom
"Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise." If that's not unconditional love, then, what is? ( Luke 23:43 ) This is what she literally meant by the Hebrew word "Hesed".
@@mafia461 You’ll be in paradise if you have a pure spirit and are following the laws, statutes and commandments.
@@CodyCole80 Hmm, I don't think that qualified the thief. So, why was he excepted into paradise? ( It's a rhetorical question )
@@mafia461 Thief on the cross fulfilled the Law and the Prophets by loving the Lord his God with all his heart, with all his soul and all his mind.
Is this different from Grace?
Where in the bible it says that GOD’s love is unconditional?
It says it in Luke 23:43 when he said to the thief, "Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise." If that's not unconditional love, then, we don't know what is.
מה לגבי אהבה?
You must be very slow 🐌😴👈🏼🤣
You said you love your mom, but why didn’t you also say that you love your dad?
Jesus never spoke about Joseph, the Bible provides no record of Jesus addressing Joseph in any way, only his mother.
👋🏻 okay bye!
Greek has different words for different types of love.
I don't think you completed the story about Hosea enough. People in individual situations need to really be led by the Holy Spirit or they may end of beaten or killed in living w/ an unfaithful husband (usually the case) or wife. But all people need to look things up for themselves & then ask the Lord what His will if for them.
Maybe someone can help me with the correct Hebrew for "male genital mutilation" ?
"Unconditional love" is not found in the Bible afaik. The phrase was coined a few years ago, it's not biblical. Unfortunately, the way people understand this phrase is that God loves us as we are, so, no need to repent of our sins.
its actually God loves us as we are is very true AND we need to repent our our sins to have a relationship with HIM
@@conse01 #facts!
@@mafia461 not sure what this means. God does love us as we are and pursues us. As humans, we have free will and need to move towards God in repentance. MY original statement stands.
@@conse01 you don't know what 'FACTS' means? It means 'true'👍🏻
Of all the words used to translate hesed, I don't think the Bible ever actually uses "unconditional." Steadfast love is one of the terms used, and the Psalms actually put a number of conditions on God's hesed:
10 All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness,
for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
(Ps 25:10)
9 Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding,
which must be curbed with bit and bridle,
or it will not stay near you.
10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked,
but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD.
11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, O righteous,
and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!
(Ps 32:9-11)
...and likewise the Proverbs (thanks Digital Theologian):
22 Do they not go astray who devise evil?
Those who devise good meet steadfast love and faithfulness.
(Pr 14:22)
"Unconditional" carries some dangerous implications. Have you ever really thought about the role of "unconditional" love in the days of lawlessness that Christ foretold? ...and how "unconditional" love actually fits with his warnings about accountability? ...and moreover, the role of unconditional love in practical problems like enabling?
All of which may be reasons why I'm not sure the Bible ever actually uses "unconditional" as a translation of hesed.
Please don't lie , it is not in the bible "to cheat on the wife ".
It was the wife who cheated 😂🤣
