It is amazing. It makes jumps feel much more responsive as well which people don't realize. Everything that read like AR9.4 to AR10 feels like it's AR9 again just because of the responsiveness and accusation. It somehow makes reading feel easier like I have a few extra milliseconds to react before I need to click, helped me read and FC 6 star map better and I'm only 63K.

over here in osu!mania, a top player called bojii got his hands on the wooting what happened next was just beyond stupid, he set hundreds of scores that were almost unbeatable, (highest possible score in mania is 1 million btw) 124 perfects (999.2k) on Image Material 2nd ever SS, KYAFA unstoppable domination 999.1k 166 perfects 4th ever SS, shinbatsu o tadori 998.5k 264 perfects FIRST ever SS + it was set on 60hz lol and thats only like the tip of the iceberg edit 2 correction: he was actually playing at 55hz… wtf
As someone who has used the wooting for a couple months now and noticed definite improvements as I got used to it most of this is correct. I think you shouldn't try to actively use the rapid trigger feature but when you do use it it's not by not bottoming out the keys, the way to use wooting is by not lifting all the way up but still bottoming out. This still gives you the control and feedback of bottoming out but lets you tap much faster because the distance you're moving upwards is not enough for another key actuation on a normal keyboard. Once you get used to this, the wooting goes from just a nice keyboard that makes notelock easier to deal with to an actual very real advantage.
Ive owned the wooting60he since May of 2022 and have been using their softwares for years now. I'm a fortnite pro (kinda cringe) but during a time in competitions wooting took over the scene with having 360 degree movement which was a huge advantage. At the time wooting was very very very small so they were not prepared for all this demand. They gave out a software that allowed for the movement, everyone uses it over the in game settings. When the wooting60he was announced I preorder it in January of 2021 and was excited to use the lowest actuation point out of every keyboard. I wasn't so interested in the rapid trigger, but I was the first out of the fortnite scene to know the possibilities of this keyboard. I told my friend and we gatekept it from others, After a little bit and going to dreamhack lan I got asked what keyboard I use and I'm not one to lie. This is when Osu! community got introduced to the keyboard as well and it was very difficult to get the keyboard since they sold out and had manufacturing problems. I just love how wooting took over not only the biggest game but Fortnite as well insane.
I finally got a wooting and its made a pretty big difference for me honestly. Im a big guy (and old) so bottoming out keys constantly drains my stamina and I can only play speed when hover tapping and on pretty much every keyboard I wouldnt reset the actuation when streaming or doing fast single taps because I dont bottom out the keys. It hasnt improved my aim of course, but Im 100% more consistent and can stream far longer with higher accuracy using it than any other switch Ive tried. Before it felt like my hands were doing the correct inputs but I would miss notes because I didnt reset the actuation on the key, but now that issue has been practically eliminated and I can play maps that I struggled with before. Tapping and playing 200bpm was a slog before and anything faster felt hopeless, but now 200 is my comfort speed and I can play 220bpm maps without the miserable accuracy. I love the keyboard but its only because I have always tried to tap lightly. I improved significantly in the first week of using it. My tapping always fell far behind my aim and now its the other way around. I need a wooting pen that aims for me pls Edit: Also I think one of the issues with these reviews are that youre giving it to people who are already masters at what they do with what they have. Its like giving a professional artist a different pencil, doesnt make much of a difference but it may help someone not as skilled develop a better technique or style.
Yeah I think your analogy is on point. Top players who have developed the precision, finger control, and technique necessary to play insanely demanding maps will not benefit as much from someone who, let's say, doesn't know how to tap lightly to conserve stamina or just barely hit the actuation point for speedier sections. As a mania player, I have the issue of my inputs not getting through because I can't hover my movements around the actuation point of my keyboard. This leads to random misses on repeated presses of the same key because I can't reset the actuation quickly enough (I also bottom out the key when I press hahaha). I feel like for us players who haven't figured out a proper technique yet, wooting will enable us to somewhat start developing it.
I bought the Wooting 60HE and I am a 6 digit, but it did make me better (probably because I had a membrane keyboard), but rapid trigger or not there is no significant difference, just like you explained in the last video, it's more of a safety that lets you move the key very little but still press it, which requires less stamina so you don't die.
funny how wooting has existed since 2014, wooting two and it's dynamic actuation point have been around for 5 years now, reviewers have been pointing at wooting as ultimate rhythm games keyboard for 1,5 years, but osu community only discovered it after wooting themselves sent review copies to pros, otherwise you would've still been stuck thinking that hyperx is some cheatcode but at least you can recognize a good keyboard at last, it only takes rubbing it in your f'n face, and even then you still only see a small part of what makes it great osu doesn't deserve wooting, y'all should still be stuck with razer blackwidows
so I have been using the wooting keyboard for a month now and I do say that my valorant movement has been increased noticeably. Before when I had my standard Asus Falchion keyboard there was a delay when I started and stopped during my peaks. Which was why I only could max out at ascendant since alot of the time I have peaked but it was always too far than I expected it to go. But when I used the wooting my peaks were more snappy, jumping peaking was easier, strafe firing was easier. Now Im currently Immortal 3 and probably 5 games off Radiant. I feel like it all depends on the person, if you have fast fingers and good reaction time then having a fast keyboard to fit to your level of reaction speed is great. But if youre slow then you can still get this keyboard since it great but you wont be able to use its full potential right out of the box.
Hello, standard osu player variant of me, i too, have a wooting and can definitely say that the wooting inhibits any skill or ability that a mechanical or membrane board suppresses. If your limit is already capped at a mech or membrane keyboard, a wooting will not help. However, if your speed and form is limited by a regular keyboard, rhe wooting will help. The wooting cannot bring out any skill that you do NOT have.
i always had an issue with my tapping and i bought the wooting because i needed a new keyboard and immediately noticed after 5m, i adjusted my tapping style very quickly to more vibro as i never used to properly bottom out and before wooting i had to be in peak condition to burst 200bpm and even better to stream 200, after just over a week of having the wooting i can now burst 270 and stream 240 at peak and finger lock doesn’t exist anymore, this keyboard is an absolute cheat code if you can adjust your tapping style to suit it. Oh and another note, my stamina has literally tripled since using this keyboard, i managed to get my first pass on the top diff glory days as a 70k player after a week of using this keyboard.
As someone who is typing on a 60he right now, it 100% is worth the hype. It no longer feels like I'm using a device but rather an extension to my fingers, as I type this I'm 30-40% faster than I use to be simply because I don't have to do anything but lightly tap the keys for each character. Gaming wise my favorites so far have been cs2 and clone hero, but specifically csgo has been insane. As a bhopper I'm noticing that my strafes are at least twice as good, this thing is more responsive than my grandma who does nothing but text people all day because she has nothing else going on in her life. The keyboard sounded amazing stock however after 7 hours and a basic lube job later this sounds and feels like straight up butter and I'm a huge fan of it. 10/10 if they come out with the 80he soon I will get it again. I came back to this message just to give me another reason to type on this thing. I originally got it for gaming however this thing works amazing as an all around keyboard as well especially with the fact that you can set the actuation point and have it however you'd like however once you get use to it you only really need it on 1ms.
As someone who bottoms out my switches regularly, I am almost certain that I will not see much gain unless I modify my technique. Regardless, I bought the UwU and some lekkers with higher spring force to experiment. It will be fun to play around at least!
I’m high 5 digit(around 70k) who got the wooting not to long ago, I played a lot of speed beforehand but after I got it it took me about a week to reach where I was with my last keyboard, but then far exceeded it. I adopted the vibrio technique (the one mrekk has where he barely moves his hands) really well and jumped from being able to stream around 12 notes 250bpm with good acc reliably( I could punch myself further though) to being able to death stream 250 with questionable acc. I decided to turn off rapid trigger, as it kind of made speed boring and I’m not good enough to gain any rank form it, and I realized that that same vibro technique was still very much possible for me, and even not using the vibrio technique I could play speed just as fast. Rapid trigger helped me learn that technique, but I was still able to put it into practice without it after some time.
I own a wooting now and tbh? it is a veeery solid keyboard and buying it just because of osu is doing it a disservice. It's a damn good keyboard in general and for anyone that has the money but doesn't yet have a good keyboard this is genuinely worth buying.
before I got my wooting (7 digit) I couldn't even stream 200 bpm, then once I get my wooting I can almost consistently stream 250 bpm, just my aim is bad, I'm 6 digit rn
@@bogember1690Its also good for single tapping i noticed. There was some maps i couldnt single tap at all then when i got my wooting i instantly fced single tapping. I feel like taking top players as a point of reference is not the right thing to do. Most top players are top players because their techniques are very refined. Players like me who jitter/mash whatever you call it, or basically has a bad technique experience so much improvement almost immediately. That said, it doesn't give you raw speed. It can't make you physically tap faster but just increases toleration with your flaws, by A LOT. Prior to getting my Wooting last week, my best score on ascension to heaven DT had 51 misses. 2 days ago, I got 0 misses and 3 slider breaks. It was 78 acc with 0 misses so not a great score but I was WAYYY worse to begin with. So in short, from my own experience and what I have seen from community, better/more refined your technique is, less success will you experience, and the other way around is also true.
its kind of funny like, the whole section about 'bottoming out isn't efficient with rapid trigger' thing was just wrong because stopping yourself halfway intentionally is just harder to do
You know what, I'll wait till they release a 75% version wooting, seriously 60% is just not enough key for me to handle, arrow keys missing, no obvious function keys. Ima pass this for now, wait till the game killer drop
