- Easily my best FC. Completely on another level compared to anything I've done so far imo.
Around a month ago I was trying to get a sub -20 run and somehow it led to this :D. Wasn't even sure if this would ever be possible for me, since I had a decent amount of trouble all around the song. Kinda just considered this as a "dream" FC until it suddenly became possible.
Some useless stats: This was my 41st run up to solo 2, 19th run up to solo 3 and 2nd run past solo 3.

How long did it take you to learn all of the methods for this? I’ve just started this grind and some of these sections are insane. Watching this video looks impressive but to actually know what is involved, makes this so much more than impressive. Kudos man
Honestly no idea. At first I was just going for full solos, which in itself took a good while. I think I FCd solo 2 quite soon after the chart was released, but 1 and 3 took a lot longer. There was like a half year gap between me FCing solo 1 and solo 3 for the first time. I was also doing score runs quite a bit at that time and those definitely contributed to the FC in the end. FC itself happened 2 months after I FCd full solo 3 for the first time. After I got solo 3 I was just doing runs trying to get as good of a misscount as possible and at some point FC became a possibility and I started taking runs more seriously. I've definitely sunk majority of the time into this song thinking that it wouldn't even be possible for me. I think I started doing serious runs like 2 weeks before the FC happened. I guess learning the methods by themself didn't take too long. I think I got the tech FC quite quickly, but getting consistent at the methods was a long process for sure.
@@DaSu15 yea I’m noticing that getting the sections up to speed will be super difficult. I just started 3 days ago so I’m not expecting this fc to happen anytime soon. I’ve got intro 1A and 1B at 85 speed but those sections are the easiest part. Solo 1 is very awkward so I’ve started working mostly on solo 2. I’ve got 2A and 2B together at 55 speed. Solo 3 just stresses me out lol. Thanks for the detailed response. Your video has really inspired me to take my playing to the next level. Thanks and happy holidays to you!

Yeah I definitely did not think this would be FCd, and even beside all the crazy tapping some of the strumming sections in solo 3 are as challenging if not even harder. Crazy FC, definitely best of all time, and easily my favorite as well

Okay, this makes me legitimately emotional. Like, not even Tobe or Megapeng would upload anything other than 1A - Chord Massacre 1. Every great GH player would maybe get one or two of the easier solos, such as Acai getting Inhuman Elevation and Solo 1B. And, ever since I downloaded this song, I've played each section as if I was just starting to climb Mount Everest. I'd get one of the hard parts, like, once, maybe at a slower speed, like part of 3A or 2C, and I'd think I was on the verge of greatness. I'd imagine myself like I FC'd Disjointed (I actually did that; on my channel). That's how fucking legendary of a song this is to hit. Not even the best of the best would upload more than three videos of section FCs of this song.
Just... thinking about this FC happening in the future, it seems so distant. I thought even a tech FC was a bit of a reach. You'd think some god would have to step in 5 years from now, after Soulless 4 becomes Slow Ride and people have literally ascended. You'd think we'd basically have to be at 20XX before this gets FC'd. You'd imagine it being either a Megapeng video or a Borealis video.
It wasn't even Randy! It was not Megapeng! It was not one of these GH legends that has come to be a household name. Nay, DaSu, the possibly eight-year-old GH player with 1.05k subscribers... He was the god. He was the person who came out of nowhere and fucking obliterated OPEN FUCKING WINDOW . GH EDITION. The feeling of seeing every section of this song. Every infamous solo of this song. Every singular section that manages to tower like a monolith upon every GH player to this day. Every section that gods need to grind for. Every section that, seemingly, no one man was equipped to hit along with every other section. The melancholy of seeing every section be destroyed, one after another, right in front of your eyes. Knowing the years-long history of these sections being stone-cold, unbroken beasts that have never been taken down singlehandedly is being broken within minutes. It's goddamn powerful. This is the most emotional I've ever gotten over something GH-related. I don't think Soulless 4 top this, honestly.
I'm fucking shaking. Well done, DaSu. If this impossible feat is real, you have earned the thanks of every player to touch Guitar Hero. G fucking G.

Out of curiosity, how difficult is the 6 fret chart in comparison to the 5 fret one? It definitely looks more tame, but I also know next to nothing about 6 fret. Also, is this an official 6 fret chart for Open Window?
As far as I know Mark based this off of the 5 fret hard chart, so I'd say it's probably somewhere around the same difficulty. I'm not too familiar with the 5 fret hard chart, so I can't say for sure if there are any major differences in them that would possibly make this one easier or harder. I also don't really have that much experience in 5 fret in order to be able to judge the difficulty of the 5 fret chart. Either way imo 5 and 6 fret are really different, so you can't really compare them that well.
I guess you can't really call this chart "official", since it's not charted by Jarvis, but it's the only chart that exists of this song and I hardly doubt that there will ever be any chart that could be considered more "official" than this.
