My mom and dad were heroin addicts in NYC in the 50's and 60's, they found out about Teen Challenge, went to Brooklyn and entered the program...they were wonderfully helped-the Lord saved and delivered both of them. I know that I would have never been born if this had not happened. My parents knew Nicky Cruz and others that were radically saved and delivered because David and Gwen obeyed God. This book has always been one of my favorites...then later on when I was a teenager we moved to Texas and lived on the grounds of World Challenge, my parents worked with David and Don Wilkerson, they were a major blessing to my parents for all of their lives.
I hate reading but I couldn’t put this book down and was completely enthralled with it the entire time. Teen Challenge saved my life. Myself and my family are forever grateful for David Wilkerson.
I remember reading Run, Baby Run 30+yrs ago as a young teen. I seen the movie the cross and the switchblade a few years later and just couldn't stomach it. Thought it was beyond corny and really lame
