    I think im Stich lassen is more about being stood up. Which is often slang for ditching someone. Which is again more slang for "not showing up". I often here this in the dating world

      being stood up would be jemanden versetzen

    Hello Jenny, I dont get why lassen is used in past tense in "Er hat uns nichst übrig gelassen" though you have said lassen doesnt convert into gelassen earlier in the video? Thanks ❤

    • @lingoniGERMAN
      @lingoniGERMAN  Рік тому

      In your sentence, there is not a second infinitive. Only with a second infinitive, you don't change lassen to gelassen.

      Er hat ihn alleine zur Party gehen lassen.

    I stil don't really get the way lassen is used here: Familie Müller plant ihren Urlaub. Sie geht in ein Reisebüro und lässt sich von einem Angestellten beraten. :(

      It means the family is going into the travel agency and allowing the person there to advise them. It's like going to the hairdresser to get your hair cut. you're paying someone to do something for you
