whoever did the branding for this place is an absolute genius, i love it so much
Branding by Radical Co-op in LA. Shuttered in 2020, sadly.
i love this series, not only did it highlight the food but also the cooking process and the restaurant as well
It doesn't taste like beef, its not trying to taste like beef, it taste like a delicious burger.
This! Is amazing!
love this series! Andrew has great taste and a discerning eye for interesting details (loved all his answers to "what is your favorite thing that is not food" in the worth it series), like getting a little window into how he sees/experiences the world!
These videos are great. For those who are curious about small businesses and how they come up with their food ideas. It helps to promote the business and also gives ideas to people who want to try something new. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I also don't have to have meat all the time. It's a good option to try something new.
this series is so fun! andrew's obsession with detail is so interesting to watch when he shares these foods
Adam?
Loved this! Really nice to see the thought process, care and effort from that the owner and and team put into making their vegan burgers. Also the details in the store were so cute!
However, would love to know more about those vegan milkshakes too! They look sooo good! ❤
Just found a new series to binge from About To Eats! Loved this exploration of the restaurant and seeing the thoughts that went into it.
This is just fantastic guys, well done. The editing and focus of the video is completely on point.
Kind of love this series. It's like 99% invisible but specifically for food
one of my favourute videos you've done Andrew, shout out Fred for creating a sick brand
Love how the videos look, makes me feel warm inside
I love this series, it's indeed in the details.
As someone known as 'the carnivore' in their family, I actually LOVE really good veggie burgers especially when they don't try to taste like burgers. I'm eating the veggie cuz I wanna taste the veggies. It's really cool to see this guy really understand that and give the veggie patty the love it deserves.
In-n-out double double is hard to beat. What sets it apart for me is their 1000 island, the way they toast the buns to give each bite a crunchiness, and the way the cheese lingers in my mouth
This dude's vision is so beautiful and concise 🔥🔥
I co-opted their tofu "chicken nuggets" from a long ago episode of yours and Adam's. I've always wanted to visit the restaurant to not only taste what it should taste like, but to support what they are doing. ❤
first time visiting your channel, really enjoying the way you go about it
Gosh how much I love this channel!!
I love this series!!
Yay! New vlog for my favorite youtube channel! 😊🤗💖
ooh yeah. this makes me excited for the next season of Worth It as well!
great video andrew! thank you❤
Loved this video. Would love to try it next time I visit LA.
I would love to try this burger. Great recommendation pal. Such effort. Mega.
Hmmm... now I'm hungry 💜
I want to sit there and enjoying the atmosphere, a burger and a chat with Andrew 🍔
I want to try those burgers so badly! 🍔 Also, I reallly love this new series
Looks SENSATIONAL :)
looks delicious. so good to showcase a veggie burger like this. I'm tired of the beef obsession!
Salivating 😭😭😭 All the burgers shown look so delicious, plus as a vegetarian it's so exciting to be eat anything on a menu! So many choices...
*able to
when you picture in your head a classic burger joint, there's a counter with stools -- so even the seats are an example of this store being classics, elevated
Really cool to see some plant based content ☺️ hope to see some more veggie/vegan stuff in the future
thank you for sharing!
Perfect timing. Watching this while eating my own homemade vegan cheeseburger :D
This made me so hungry😢 god i love garden burgers
I remember this from the Worth It episode!!! Now I definitely have to try out this restaurant someday
Looks so good
At first I was disappointed that it was a veggie burger and not a beef burger, but then the process was shown, and damn...that looks like a great burger. I'd love to try that smash burger.
My own favorite burger is when I make burgers on the grill at home. Potato roll bun, onions, cheese, and a little Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning.
This is what I'm looking for. As a moslem, I appreciate this type of content. So that I have another option to eat halal food in US. Thanks so much. 🙏
loooooooove Burgerlords. I go there every time I'm in LA. Their milkshakes are amazing also.
this diner gave me the same warm feelings with watching bobs burgers
Definitely saving this place on Google Maps for the day I come to Cali
As someone who is lactose-intolerant, the idea of a vegan milkshake sounds AMAZING!!!
You might like Kenji’s veggie patties. It seems like a similar recipe!
drooling
I was so stoked when you said this was a vegan burger at the start
Hey, Andrew - what vent hood do you have and does it vent to the outside?
I wasn’t planning on watching this video because I don’t eat meat or cheese but I’m so glad I did :)
Ha, I'm here for the "burger" in the title, discovered it was a plant-based patty instead and thought about leaving, but I'm sure I'll watch it anyway. Still, feelin' a little duped.
@@JDoors you poor thing
@@glencoco3142 😆
This was in season 7 worth it with Jackson I literally just watched it!!
Would love for you guys to cover fave dishes to make with pasta water, the "liquid gold" of cooking!
finally something for me
Love this! But what does #3 mean?
Worth it series please
I like a well constructed, no frills smash burger with the lacy, crispy edges on the patty, the charred onions, a thick melty slice of American cheese and plain French's yellow mustard. In fact, I ate one while watching this video. I like my burgers and BLTs straight forward, nothing fancy --- just the basics done well.
looks like a really good burger
I want to eat at this restaurant so badly but it's on the other side of the country 😔
This must be such a peaceful place to work at
Can't wait to try this place I LOVE vegan burgers. Don't tell anyone but Padero Beach Grill absolutely has the best vegan burger I've ever had. shhhh
The biblical 🍔 codes should also allow Swiss🧀 ! So underrated
Cheers from San Diego California
Andrew is goated
burgerlords! I love you all there! best ranch dipping sauce in the world!
Veggies that taste like veggies 👏👏👏 the smash burger specifically looks awesome
My favorite burger from a fast food joint was the grilled onion burger from Carl's Jr
With this video, it’ll be now impossible to get a table without queuing for at least an hour. Geez 😂
Never thought I'd WANT a vegan burger...but here we are
Yup same
never thought I'd want a vegan burger, and I thought correctly
@@aclonymous 😂 can't be for everyone.
@@aclonymous mad
The speed he’s talking in is so LA.
Great burger!
There's a really old burger joint in my town in Australia. Their best advertising is the smell! I swear they must pump out the smell of grilled beef and onions over the whole city block!
I love Burgerlords their cheeseburgers are my favorite as well. The burger of the future.
This looks awesome. I love a beef burger, but veggie burgers can be killer too.
Cool details and nice place! But isn't garlic aioli supposed to be just aioli? Like it's already garlicky :P
Put some much thought into every…plus fake flowers and plants 😅
I love all of your videos
My favorite part of veggie burgers is they can be substituted for fries in my combo.
❤️ Burgerlords
taste is King , always
My favorite prayer that I've ever had was a half pound burger from a bar in vernonia Oregon it was loaded with jalapenos but I'm sure the one without jalapenos would be just as good depending on whether you're not you want a kick
At worth it, you said that you've take it back your fav double cheeseburger, so I think this is your answer 😂
Omnivore here but damn those burgers looked awesome! Sometimes I wish I still lived in LA if only for the food. Wish they could freeze them and sell them. It’s hard to find a good veggie burger.
Hi Rae you can actually order them from Goldbelly and have them shipped to you. They sell just the patties or as full on kits with most of the ingredients they use to assemble in the restaurant.
@@clk55amg208 Thank you, Steve. I looked into it but the price was prohibitive.
@@raeperonneau4941 I totally get it. The prices made me do a double take.
I'm vegetarian right now for spiritual reasons and when I saw this I had to click but I was kinda sad thinking that it was gonna make me miss meat. Here I am pleasantly surprised and the burgers look incredible!!!
the most important question is, where Andrew is buying those stunning buttoned down shirts from. The white one he is wearing in this particular video does remind me a lot of the Asket Oxford Shirt but I guess we'll never know
When are you gonna release a new video?
I'm loving these nerdy food episodes. Seeing the meticulous methods of these chefs passionately narrated truly is inspiring. Live to see more of these.
Where's Alvin?
On Babish's channel!!
Who wants a collab video with STCG ?
Cheers from San Diego California
the itch to get a cheeseburger after watching this video is real... even though i cant eat cheese due to a dairy allergy...
Well’ since it’s a vegan burger there is no dairy involved….
Hungry now
I loveee the fact that you didnt specifically name the video "VEGAN CHEESEBURGER". Excellent Series 👌
Did anybody else confuse the word nerdy with dirty when Andrew said it lol
need an amnesty period where thieves can return all the Burgerlord classic cups
My favorite have to be the one I make at home. Vegan or with meat.
Only thing I can think of watching this, is how much better it would be as beef than a veggie patty.
I liked this but I was surprised that some of the 6 things were just about the restaurant aesthetic
Burger looks good tho
I've been to Burgerlords. I never went to em when they still served beef, but this place has 2 different veggie patties. one is supposed to be the more meaty tasting veggie patty and it was definitely a couple steps above any other I've tried.
I could go get the fanciest burger out there and spend like twenty dollars or more on it and im sure ill like it, and its all within like a 5 minute drive from my house. but what it all comes down to is on my way home ill be arguing with myself if I want some Jr. bacon cheese burgers from Wendys or some plain jane cheeseburgers from Mc.Donalds. Those two will always be tied at number one for me, and I love burgers, cheap or fancy all good in my book.
After watching this video I've definitely never tasted my favorite burger ☹️
We need worth it new season
carnies seething with the 500 dislikes lmao...
ANDREW you remind me of Joe McHale
Some vegan foods are basically cooked in a lab. Sometimes the benefits of the fats weigh more than the lab ingredients. Glad to see this burger is more organic in the process.
Seeing the gluten free makes my long-suffering-gluten-intolerant heart happy. But I wonder if the cheese is vegan. I'm also lactose intolerant, though I can handle cheeses like cheddar. And I bet the vegan milkshakes are divine. I'll probably never go there, though. Just glad to know someone's looking out for myself and others like me, rather than for profit,
Nerdy Andrew
