We were looking for some info as to what to expect for our pending stay a Daingerfield. Followed your video as you drove around... up to Big Pine... and pulled into the very same site we have reserved!! Got an amazing view from multiple perspectives and now, knowing exactly what to expect, we're definitely looking forward to our stay. Thanks much.
Well, that brings a smile to my face! I made the type of videos that I myself was looking for when booking a site to a state park but rarely seemed to find. I'm so glad that you found this video to be helpful!
Thanks for sharing. My dad's side of the family is from that area and we've rented all of Dogwood and all of the cabins, looking forward to a nice reunion with the family. Heading out Friday.
Beautiful video, I just joined the Texas State Park site review’s Facebook page. I know this video is 2 years old, so you might not see this suggestion, like with the FB group there is no mention of where in Texas Daingerfield SP is located, other than the name of the lake. I’m new to camping and haven’t oriented myself with the locations of each state park. This past autumn I lucked out at attended an event at Abilene SP lol so the name gave it away 😂 Lake Towikoni, and Lake Grapevine are easy, but as you can see, I’m geographically challenged 🥴
hello from the sunny colorful ozarks mike and christy! daingerfield is at the top of texas state parks!! its close to my nephews which is where we visit! i enjoy visiting family and friends at camp grounds, close to them. tight lines and grace be with you!
I just love this park! It is in my top five Must See Texas State Parks and you have done an excellent job of showing all that this wonderful place has to offer! thanks for you hard work and attention to detail!
Thanks for the kind words of encouragement Dude!! This little park is definitely one of our favorites too! (and close to home for us) We look forward to our next meet-up!
Thank you! I have FAR BETTER equipment now! I think I was still using my cell phone (Samsung Galaxy S7) on a tripod back then! LOL! Either that or a GoPro Hero 7 White. I now have a proper window suction mount and a GoPro Hero 8 Black. Thanks for watching!!
@@jenniferlzr5651 Yes indeed! Seems like we've been around the Texarkana area a lot lately! We did a video from Atlanta State Park in February and I am currently working on a video from our stay at a COE park [Rocky Point]. Both of which are on Wright Patman Lake (about 20 miles from Texarkana).
We love this state park. It's one of our Top 3 State Parks in Texas. Camped there for 7 days at site #8 in late June 2019. Bathrooms were the Best. Our camp host took real good care of it.
