Just got this for 97 dollars guy and I have to say pretty good quality for the money work great you can’t work away from it burn it fast 30 seconds and rotate 👍
At Xmas time the box stores sell oven cookie kits that come with small 6 and or 8 in cast pans - they work great in the oven as they can fit side by side - Get the Bigger kit pan which is 7 or 8 inch..
That chuck eye steak is a good cut of steak. Just happened to buy one on sale. The price and how good the steak looked caused me to try one. Since I look for them instead. Good as any marbled rib eye. Just some Lowrys garlic salt and pepper is all the seasoning I use.. Definitely going to check out this cheap grill from Wal Mart too.
hey Tom, looks great! I'd love a video on your tables...I'm envious, as I have a couple of portable grills like the Jumbo Joe and PK Go, and now I'm thinking of this :)...but no good table options... especially for the pkgo which gets super hot in dual hibachi mode and can melt a plastic table. :(
Excellent Steak... but my question is this... Did you HURT your Cast Iron Skillet? Do we have to have it that high of heat? Other question... did you put anything in the bottom of the Cast Iron Skillet before putting the steak in? Thank You for sharing this great video.
Love it! I actually went and bought one as soon as you showed the box before you reviewed it! We've enjoyed it so far. Have you tried lump charcoal yet? That's what they recommend and I wonder if that would get your temps hotter.
Hey Tom😃You know I love Chuck Eye Steak too, most of my BBQ videos have them😁I call them The Poor Mans Rib Eye😁That flame looks awesome🔥Dude those steaks turned out most Excellent😋A "BIG"👍🏻ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
I'm not to happy with the way this oven does pizza, the bottom crust doesn't get brown, but with steaks it does great. Steaks look mighty tasty Tom. How about burgers next?
@@JewManGuru One would think a 1/4 inch steel plate under the pizza stone would give more residual heat once the pizza is placed in the oven to help brown the bottom better. However with this oven the steel plate would be too heavy for the weak leg attachment to the bottom. The legs would need to be well reinforced to take the added weight. I just might give this a try. Have to add about 15 minutes to the heat up time to make sure the steel plate gets close to same temperature as the pizza stone.
So you have inspired me to do the very same thing with a really good cut of meat. Lol. Unfortunately I can’t video it but I can’t take still pictures I’ll send you one lol
Wow, that’s impressive Tom! Boy that gets hot! How did the cast iron fair after being subjected to those temperatures? I was nervous just watching that the oven would fall off that table. The steaks looked delicious! Cheers!
You don’t express any emotion after tasting the steak! I would have to assume it wasn’t very good. When I take a bite of a great steak everyone around me knows it good....👀
For a guy with so many BBQ grills, you cooking is pretty blah. If you would have scored the two sides of the steaks with a sharp knife and used a good seasoning those would have been perfection.
Just picked up one today on clearance $37.00!!! I'm so cooking steaks tonight. Thanks a bunch Mr. Tom.
Thanks for Watching! Enjoy!
Holy Crap........it's $97 on sale at Wal-Mart!!! Picked two up!! Thanks for these videos!!

Very cool. A must try. Thank you for this video 📹
Thanks for watching!
I’m curious, can you use pellets in this grill, say, on top of the charcoal to add some Smokey flavor? Or, how about wood chunks or chips?
Thanks for Watching Mark! Yes
OH WOW... That is an EXCELLENT IDEA... Thanks Mark.
Looks Amazing! Thanks Tom
Thanks for Watching Jason!
Two steaks in 6 minutes, 3 thick bacon wrapped filet mignon in 14 minutes. I love my $37.00 pizza oven. 😍😍😍😍
Sounds Awesome! Thanks again for Watching!
TOOOOMMM! Thanks for the review and the technique of cooking those steaks. That looks like a fine product and I’ll look into it.

Excellent Steak... but my question is this... Did you HURT your Cast Iron Skillet?
Do we have to have it that high of heat?
Other question... did you put anything in the bottom of the Cast Iron Skillet before putting the steak in?
Thank You for sharing this great video.
Thanks for Watching Judi! Didn’t effect the cast iron, just a little spray canola right before the steak
Great Tom how many grills do you have brother ?
Thanks for Watching James! Allot…..
What if you cut the handle off the cast iron pan so the steak would have to go so deep in the oven. You could use the pizza tray to remove it.
Thanks for Mike! With the handle, it was deep enough
Hi
How do I get one sent to México?
Just love it!
Thanks again for your videos!
Thanks for watching! I m not sure,
Love it! I actually went and bought one as soon as you showed the box before you reviewed it! We've enjoyed it so far. Have you tried lump charcoal yet? That's what they recommend and I wonder if that would get your temps hotter.

Hi Tom is it chuck roast ?
Thanks for Watching Paul! Nope it is Chuck eye steak, very tender and decently priced. Hard to find though

Burgers would be awesome Mike! Thanks for Watching!
I wonder if you replaced the stone with a pizza steel if that would help. Or even just placed it over the stone.
@@JewManGuru One would think a 1/4 inch steel plate under the pizza stone would give more residual heat once the pizza is placed in the oven to help brown the bottom better. Thanks for watching! Yup, more thermal mass, plus it would raise the cooking surface up and closer to the heat reflector
Good idea Mike! I agree

Cheers!
Thanks for Watching Jay! Cast iron held up just fine. You are correct the table is a tad to small
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ I was wondering how many times it fell off the table. Just put a wood frame around the edge
Thanks for Watching Howard! Never fell off the table, I do have other tables to use
Looks good, a touch over cooked, but I wouldn't toss it to the dog!
Thanks for Watching! Appreciate the feedback

Your making me hungry Tom
Thanks for Watching Doug!
It's a pizza oven only because you choose to call it that. Think of it as an oven that cooks pizza, like most ovens do!
Thanks for watching Jim!
Try doing loaded baked potatoes!!
