Many atheists and Christians think of the great flood as something similar to a heavy shower for 40 days and night. However as the KJV Bible indicate "on the same day all the fountains of the great deep broken up". The flood must have been such a cataclysmic event which changed the face of the Earth in a year in what many say happened in millions of years.
Werner Barnard atheists don’t think of the great flood as anything other than the story of Gilgamesh plagiarized by Moses in his attempt to civilize a mob of illiterate slaves. It’s an amazing piece of social engineering, not a documentary.
@tsimahei I am not sure I understand what you are claiming. It seems that you are claiming that because everything was close together at one point, light from the various objects was always hitting each other object, so light was always here and doesn't need a long time to get here because it was already here. If this is what you are saying, then it seems you do not understand how light behaves. I am not sure how to respond without being condescending, especially since I think what you have misunderstood in your comment is not something you misunderstand in everyday life. For example, you can light up a room with a light bulb, but as soon as you turn it off, the the room gets dark again. This is because the light is getting absorbed by materials in the room, or being lost through windows. The light bulb needs to be constantly emitting light in order to light up the room, so it is always new light we are seeing in the room, not light that was already there even a second prior. Similarly, if you move the light source, different areas will become lit and other places will fall under shadows. This is because the new light is coming from a different location, and the light from the previous location has been absorbed or escaped the room. Likewise, the light emitted by the big bang would have been absorbed or shot off into space. The light we see from distant stars is emitted from the location they existed at the time that light was emitted. If this location is measured to be 2.5 million light years away (roughly the distance to the Andromeda Galaxy), then it must have taken that light 2.5 million years to reach us here.
@tsimahei In your reply to me, you completely dropped any mention of your previous claim regarding disproving the Big Bang. Am I to assume you are dropping that claim?
@tsimaheiPlease clarify what you mean by this statement, "atheists still use both big bang and still claim it's impossible for starlight to have been present." In particular, if the Big Bang occurred, where is it impossible to have starlight?

New studies have shown that those biblical fairy tales have some scientific basis to back it up. Huge floods occurred and the bewildered minds at the time came to the religious conclusions.
TheJonnyzeus - If you ignore the fact that virtually all fossils are found in sedimentary rock and virtually all sedimentary rock is laid down by water then you have a good point. You should also ignore mass grave deposits of fossils with marine and land animals all mixed together. Should probably also overlook layers that span multiple continents as well. I would also suggest that you ignore all out of place artifacts.

I've seen a similar situation to the exploded boulder phenomenon. In a quartz lens at the bottom of a cliff of a gray fine grained granite were some pyrope garnets approximately a quarter to a half inch in diameter that had shattered into approximately 1/16 inch pieces but the pieces of each individual garnet were within a single circle less than 3/4" in diameter. The lens was about ten feet long and 8" thick at its maximum.

@@theTavis01 Were it so simple. Yet all the “best” examples of transition fossils (like “Lucy”) can be debated due to the amount of guesswork and presumptions that went into analyzing their fragments. And many species reoccur throughout different layers of the fossil record without any changes, sometimes with human footprints in the same layers as their prints. The Cambrian Explosion is hotly debated for a reason. Adaption? Yes, God made this evident. Macro-evolutions? No clear evidence yet.
@@WisdomThumbs Lucy is hardly the "best" example of transitional forms in terms of general biological evolution, and has never been considered that. A fantastic example of transitional fossil forms is found in horses, and has been considered as such for well over 100 years and shows changes and diversification over time in the family equidae going back roughly 50-60 million years. In order to handwave away this evidence, young earth creationists came up with venomously dishonest excuses like "big horses float." To your point of some species persisting without change, the stasis of certain species is exactly what the science of evolution shows, found by actual professionals who were carefully studying the rigorously documented fossil record. Species rapidly emerge, then exist in relative stasis for long periods of time. It is in these rapid emergence events that there is a lack of transitional forms, which only proves that random mutations cannot account for the rapid emergence. It does not magically invalidate the basic fact that rapid emergence of novel species occurred and is well documented in the fossil record. This type of pattern is also exactly what we see in the evolution of human technology, because, as I said originally, evolution is creation over time. We know full well that the telephone evolved over time from a huge wooden box to a smartphone. There are well document transitional forms along the way like the rotary phone, the touchtone, the wireless phone. Looking in finer detail, we see that each step emerged rapidly without many inbetween forms. We don't see a million half flip half touch screen phones going from one to the other. We don't see a bunch of half rotary half touch tone phones. Such transitional forms would be useless. Such a phenomenon is not an argument against the broader evolution of phones, but rather shows that evolution is guided and not pure chance. Given that you believe in God, restricting yourself to considering evolution as a godless process is an irrational position to take. As soon as you view evolution as a process that God is intimately sovereign over, it makes perfect sense. Even the Gospel is evolution - going from the old man to the new man. Evolution is a long suffering process of constant renewal, constant creativity, and constant judgment. Evolution explains why our sin comes from our flesh, and why we are held in bondage by our fear of death. The time for reading Genesis at the level of a 6 year old is over. We are members of a hyper educated society communicating on a device that has extraordinary access to unprecedented amounts of scientific knowledge. Time to start acting like it.
@@smitty121981 The comparison of phones to organisms is a false equivalence. One is iterated upon by conscious decisions and precision tuning. The other is not, unless you want to argue that God is purposefully causing unviable mutations that result in stillborns and disabilities... And if you want to argue that, go for it, but that debate will incorporate theology and bible quotes. While technology does epitomize the theory of evolution, applying that theory to organisms requires hand-waving and oversimplification (like Hegel's dialectic method, which ignored all historical ideas or complications that contradicted his theory). So, horses and dogs. Equines always remain equines. Some had less developed hooves, but they were still equines that could only produce equines. Similarly, dogs always remain in the canid family. Large horses as we know them came from breeding programs (not because "they float"). So did dogs. In this respect, they follow some of the theory of evolution as pertains to technology... But they never become something totally new. They just eventually lose the ability to interbreed with some branches of their cousins. Again, it's only micro-evolution, not macro. You were right that "Lucy" is a terrible example of a transition specimen. However... She's still one of the best examples. What does that tell us? And can you name *specific* specimens that better serve the theory? One could argue that God forcing the serpent to crawl on its belly in Genesis is a written example of rapid micro-devolution. Still not macro, though, unless you can establish that "The Serpent" became all the normal serpents we see today. But it's challenging to argue for that when the "dragon" translations are used, and collated with all the myths from disparate civilizations about plumed serpents, dragons, world snakes, lightning gods, etc. *"The time for reading Genesis at the level of a 6 year old is over. We are members of a hyper educated society communicating on a device that has extraordinary access to unprecedented amounts of scientific knowledge. Time to start acting like it."* This is Ad Hominem. It undermines your argument. Also, our "hyper educated" society is not even moderately educated. Only a fraction of our society has studied History, Etymology, Sciences, Philosophy, or even the works of our near ancestors that defined the society. Hegelian Dialectic is now the standard way of thought, despite its many flaws and detractors, but how many people do you know who've read Hegel's works? In fact, Common Core 3.0 kicked off a marked decline in education for the USA, especially in reading comprehension and math (the upper percentile of students are unaffected, but the lower percentiles suffer greatly). But even before that, the West's education has been in decline for over a hundred years. Rational Ignorance rules the roost, friend. That socio-economic term is key to understanding modern society. Few university graduates in the West can build a decent house, much less a phone. Yet, why do so many *think* they understand phones when they can't even repair one? Many of our most expert scientists still treat the Big Bang as gospel, though competing theories (mostly secular) have emerged that poke massive holes through the Big Bang. Eric J. Lerner comes to mind. Consider... Researchers and doctors with Masters in Public Health degrees are currently divided. Dogma rules the "consensus," while the hundreds of thousands of experts who disagree now lament that "science is in a death spiral." Any discovery of danger or inefficacy in mRNA gene therapy is treated as heresy, even if it can be replicated by unrelated labs. Corruption is rampant in politics and the medical field, especially with the CDC and NIH, to the point that whistleblowers with medical and scientific expertise are demonized... Yet you can easily find Americans who believe the CDC and NIH are our saviors. Is this the mark of a hyper-educated society?
@@WisdomThumbs "One is iterated upon by conscious decisions and precision tuning." obviously this applies to both biological and technological evolution, as the Bible is extremely clear that God is intimately sovereign over creation. Your argument against this is a variation of the atheist whimper of "why would a good God do bad things" and it is a statement of ignorance. The knowledge of good and evil separates us from God, in part because we see God's evil and ask why would God do that. "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." Isaiah 45:7 Technological evolution is well studied and documented in the applied sciences, displaying every salient characteristic of biological evolution, including 1) macroevolution 2) microevolution 3) inheritance 4) diversification 5) modifications made subject to selection, and even 6) puntuated equilibrium. And researchers have found it works with conscious application as well. Evolution is creation. Maybe you're not a creator. I am a creator. Evolution is creation. There is no other way for it to happen. Creation is not just the end product, it is the process that forms the end product. "Equines always remain equines" um...yeah.... exactly like the Bible tells us, kinds bring forth after their kind. You can go higher up the tree of life from horses and it always remains true without exception. A mammal will always bring forth another mammal and not a reptile. A vertebrate will always bring forth another vertebrate and not an insect. An animal will always bring forth another animal and not a plant. A eukaryote will always bring forth another eukaryote and not a bacteria. A living organism will always bring forth another living organism and not a rock. That's exactly how evolution works. It forms a tree through the diversification of kinds not by a "change in kind" as creationists argue in vain. This is perhaps best evidence in the dramatic evolution of a land mammal into a whale. Despite extreme body changes, a whale is and always will be a mammal. They come up to breathe air with lungs, they give live birth and nurse their young with milk, etc. They adapted heavily to live at sea, but they didn't just magically become a fish. That would be a change in kinds. Evolution never shows a change in kind, ever. It is not seen a single time in the fossil record even with countless scientists studying it for over 150 years. That is extraordinarily remarkable consistency for a paradigm that is allegedly entirely fabricated out of thin air!! "What does that tell us?"[in regards to Lucy not being a good transitional form] it tells us exactly what I already affirmed to you, that at a species level, evolution occurs by the rapid emergence of new forms, which then become stable over time. There is often a lack of transitional forms in these rapid emergence events. However, transitional forms showing broad changes over time between larger taxonomic groups are ubiquitous in the fossil record and are excruciatingly well documented. "One could argue that God forcing the serpent to crawl on its belly in Genesis is a written example of rapid micro-devolution." Um... well since we aren't six years old we know that this is talking about the devil and teaching us spiritual lessons and isn't a science textbook about snakes. But for the morbidly hyperliteral out there, yes in fact the fossil record proves that snakes evolved from lizards, and some snakes even have tiny leftover legs to this day. When you dismiss evolution, you dismiss this scientific confirmation of the inerrency of the Bible. If the chronology of transitions seen in the fossil record is "all made up" according to creationists, for the diabolical purpose of destroying the Bible, why wouldn't they invent it so that it happened the other way around and lizards were snakes that grew legs? That would "prove" the Bible wrong. "This is Ad Hominem" No it was a rebuke. An ad hominem is an insult that is used in place of an actual argument. In stark contrast, I used mine as an exclamation point to my argument. "Is this the mark of a hyper-educated society?" Your comment clearly demonstrates a high level of intelligence and education, with clear grammar, formal structure, and logic. I already intuited this from your first comment and you only further confirmed it. Therefor your rejection of evolution is made ever more so inexcusable. If you insist upon being interested in the science of evolution, you have no excuse for not seeing and proclaiming God's glory in it. Romans 1:20 "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

Very minor correction to one thing at 48:55 that pleistocene glaciers produced up 72 feet of glacial deposit under Chicago to show the basic limit. In Wayne county and Cayuga and Oswego counties of New York State, there are pure glacial deposit hills (drumlins) of up to 150 feet high vertically -and that's just what's visible above grade which itself is glacial deposit. But this in no way contradicts Dr Wise who compared the huge difference in deposit thickness is between glacial and diamictite deposits. I also want to point out a remarkable parallel between these vast avalanches of continents- perhaps even mountains- in these diamictite deposits and what is prophesied in Habbakuk 3 about similar events to take place at the Lord's coming that clearly shows mountains collapsing and the sea being churned by it. I STRONGLY urge people to read Habbakuk 3, verse 1 through 15. Amazing.

None, the goal of the flood was to destroy humanity. Most people probably went to high ground and remained floating on the surface for some time. Then were eaten. Those which were buried before the recessive period of the flood would've been washed off the continents into the bottom of the oceans, so we wouldn't find them on land
@@cosmictreason2242 I wonder what was supposed to be eating those bodies? How was ocean and fresh water life supposed to survive all those massive temperature and environmental changes? The waters would have superheated from subterranean water rushing in. (the rushing in itself causing that already hot water to heat more). Any supposed water canopy doing the same thing. Then the mud and particulates all through the waters as a result of all this geological violence. It would have a worse effect on ocean life than having a year of our atmosphere heating up by over 20 degrees Centigrade and being full of volcanic ash for few months. Hello, Dr. Wise, I don’t suppose you check all 800 messages, but in case you do, and have time to answer, I have a question, (btw I enjoyed the presentation so thank you I was just despairing on finding some valid evidence for a global flood, from someone trained in geology, when I came across this - praise God). I’m a little confused because we’re told on day 5 the oceans are filled with creatures of all kinds, so wouldn’t we expect the oceans not to be boiling hot? Or is this just one section of coast (12 times around the world) that has this hot spring, wouldn’t we expect to find more creatures in the pre-Cambrian (or pre-flood) world?
I would love to hear this doctors thoughts on Walt Brown's Hydroplate theory. I bet if they both collaborated, sticking with the evidence and being truthful, the two of them could present quite a nice section of the puzzle. The old world was destroyed and the entire landscape is so different than it was. I love that I find marine fossils in the northern reaches of the New Madrid Fault line up through Indiana. It baffles evolutionists
ozowen That is what happened. That theory lines up with another theory where the ocean plates (denser than the mantle it was on) suddenly subducted and dived deep into the mantle. This would force the rapid creation of new ocean plates as the Pangea continent was rapidly ripped apart. This counter intuitively raised the sea level as the new plate didn’t sit so low. All the heat discharged into the water as the new plate cools would result in massive amounts of water being thrown into the air by the rapid creation of steam.
@@firewing1319 the hydroplate theory contradicts the catastrophic plate tectonics theory you described. That’s why the hydroplate theory must be rejected as insufficient
@Cosmic Treason Hey cosmic- something initiated all the 'ring of fire ' volcano's, simultaneously! Any guesses? And what would all that ash and C02 cause? An ice age? Correct. It was a tectonic flood, and ocean floor has it all on display. J
One thing I can say is that the Genesis account focuses on animals and plants large enough for early man to understand, not really on the creation of the life forms they wouldn’t. The creative days likely being seven thousand years long each, it still seems sensible that microbes would be some of the first created even if not mentioned. Bigger life forms depend on the small ones, certainly they were created to get the ball rolling before other critters. Having short life spans I would imagine too, dying early in the record.
Jediknight A scholar used that word in his translation for reasons we don’t know. Reasoning from applicable other scriptures, the logical conclusion of seven thousand human years equal to a creative day makes complete sense to me. Don’t forget, the creator of the sun and moon never governed his day by those objects. The word day has various meanings. Observe creation in detail and design. All that in 24 hours? Jehovah set all the physical laws and properties due to his dynamic energy and power and intelligence. There was no magic mumbo jumbo snap into existence moment like a Disney movie. If you wish, I can bring you further information.
I listened with fascination to the section about the quarter mile sized boulders embedded in so called glacial deposits. (If I remembered that right) and to me, the evidence he showed, seemed to support the ancient Sumerian texts talking about a collision between Earth and Tiamat, which would easily explain the molten intrusions.... any thoughts?
Dr Wise, what if the flood is cyclic. Supposedly there have been 3 super continents. What if the same mechanism moves them over and over? Marine rock cools and densifies as it is pushed away from the mid ocean ridges. Over time this dense cold rock dives under a continental plate causing a rapid subduction.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the magnetic pole shift that the Earth seems to cyclically go through, and at the moment we are experiencing the beginning of another pole shift and rate the poles move speed up every year so it definitely seems underway. Also I wonder if that event can cause the Earth crustal displacement, or at-least the theory of that phenomenon. I certainly believe this event is some sort of cycle, and the flood is just a consequence of the forces or other events. I also think the Sun and other celestial forces/objects could be factored in to all this. Apparently as the magnetic poles shift the field gradually weakens to the point it’s almost gone at or around the climax of the flip when the speed of the poles rapidly speed up. If you consider the possibility of Earth being hit by a massive cme/flare or even a micronova then maybe the combination of events causes some sort of crazy reaction with Earth’s plates and the magma. Perhaps at the moment we are experiencing the “birth pangs” and warnings of what is to come, as in another flood or great calamity on Earth
Interesting thought. If it is cyclic, any others occurred before humanity or life as we know it. Practically every civilization on earth reports that there was one flood their ancestors endured long ago. According to the Bible, the conditions that made that flood possible can't be duplicated with the way the earth functions today, because it changed the earth both inside and out. Maybe it was the water equivalent to "the big one" we're always waiting for with earth's supervolcanos, and it exhausted whatever resources the earth had to repeat the event. I think it's funny that scientists today claim there are entire plantets made of gold or diamonds or covered in water, that there is a whole ocean underneath the frozen moon of Saturn (or is it Jupiter?) which may hold life, that Venus is basically one eternal volcano... But we have all kinds of geologic anomalies which defy their theory of life which is less than 200 years old, and they think it laughable that Earth could have once had water under its crust which burst out due to geologic changes and covered earth in water which its inhabitants had to try and survive. The thought that people back then could have recognized signs in the earth and considered it a divine warning seems bizarre to them, LOL... Or maybe they just don't want to lend any credibility to groups they don't like and they think the old "what you don't know can't hurt you."
Genesis 1:7 KJ And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament And it was so. By the time Moses recorded these words he used all pass tense words, were, was. That separation of waters longer was around, the waters above had fallen to the esrth as the deluge. This is also mentioned in 2 Peter 3:5 The firmament or expanse, atmosphere that all life would need so God was still preparing the earth for life. The waters above the earth would have created a semi tropical affect around the planet hence how we find palm trees in upper Siberia. As the water fell at the poles it instantly froze. Like frozen mammoths.
I think the polar ice caps are man made because the current sea level fits perfectly with the global land art sculptures. Also there is a theory that the waters above the firmament formed a semi frozen sea above the giant trees that covered the whole earth. It was kept pliable by the sodium that came from the moon's sodium geysers. When the moon burned out the waters froze, then cracked and then collapsed. I guess you could call it a catastrophic ice quake. This was also caused by all the giant trees being cut down. When the flood settled down the sea level was 400 miles inland on the west Sahara, reaching the tear duct of Atlantis; the Eye of Africa. That water had to go somewhere. Also, the polar Ice caps hide the global land art that is under them. At the North pole is Satan on his throne with a snake coming down from his throne, lodging in the throat of Man and hoovering over the spirit of Man.
@@HairGlitter well, if it wasn't man who cut down all the giant trees to make the global land art with giant bulldozers then who did? God doesn't use bulldozers does he?
A humble Question. There was a flood covering all earth and all mountains. So that must have been immense amounts of Water, where the Heck did all that Water go to ?
It likly became the earth's oceans, it's a high probability that the continents were pushed upwards durring/after the cataclysm. And so the water simply rests around them.
Genesis 1: "Then God said: “Let there be an expanse between the waters, and let there be a division between the waters and the waters.” 7 Then God went on to make the expanse and divided the waters beneath the expanse from the waters above the expanse." This indicates a water canopy above the expanse...... this water canopy kept the earth in a hothouse type of state. A lot of moisture (mist coming up from earth and the poles free of ice). A temperate climate earth wide.... not too hot or too cold wherein large animals (which need a lot of water) can move around. Plants would have been prolific. The air consistency would allow for terradactals to fly. Seasons were not as harsh as today. Gen 1:21 "And God created the great sea creatures and all living creatures that move and swarm in the waters according to their kinds and every winged flying creature according to its kind. And God saw that it was good". Large animals need lots of water to regulate temperature and move/wade/swim around easily (reptiles with cold blood especially). Genesis 2: 5b & 6 " because YHWH God had not made it rain on the earth and there was no man to cultivate the ground. 6 But a mist would go up from the earth, and it watered the entire surface of the ground." No rain before the flood and no rainbow...... a wonderful mild ecosystem. This canopy broke and came down from above as well..... so after the flood the poles started icing up with glaciers forming. People's ages were dropping from a few hundred years to just over hundred years postflood because of buildup of bad UV rays in atmosphere. Noah miscalculated and got drunk because the direct sun makes more sugar in grapes (wine with more alcohol, stronger than before the flood). Animals may also have been much larger before the flood. After the flood animals adapted to a new dryer environment and altered plant life. .....(their food source changed). The bible gives us many clues about the pre-flood world.
Spectacular lecture. Lots of food for thought. The conditions necessary to produce exploded boulders is a terrifying thing to imagine. I will use this information when sharing with friends who protest certain creation points
ozowen take a bunch of water and sand and dirt and shake it up. It will sort itself into stable layers as things settle. After the flood waters calmed the same thing happened as all the debris settled out.

Actually, I thoroughly enjoy watching the Dr. Hugh Ross Stephen Meyers, Dr. Lenox debate people like Bill Nye or Neil deGrasse Tyson etc! All are very devout Christians and many scientists are having problems with the old Darwinian model they fight so hard to hang onto because of new findings from people like those 3 amazing scientists!
There was in an article being it was secular but mentioned that during the usual called Proterozoic time there were very strong currents in the oceans than that would loosen anything in those oceans and throw them off is the idea WHICH to me speaks of the great flood as in very strong movements of water in a catastrophe!
@ReligionlessFAITH You can dispute a creator God when you can scientifically produce anything, much less the complexities of life from absolute nothing. If you believe that matter always existed, how can you not accept that intelligent life may have pre-existed our universe. I am not offended by your unbelief in a God, just trying to say that your position requires a lot of faith. Another thing that I often find with Athiests, are that their hatred towards this God is usually born from some hurt they experienced in their life where they felt betrayed by this God. In that case, I feel sad for you and wish you healing.
@ReligionlessFAITH nobody, except evolutionists, claim that God created unique species in each layer. They always pretend to understand how was the flood if it happened and attack that straw man or straw flood.
12k years ago was a large glacial retreat. Recorded by ancient civilizations and later imposed onto the event known as Noahs flood. The event separated most of the world's civilizations as well as destroyed coastal cities with a sea level rise of about 400 Ft.
Tell me about it... which civilization recorded this glacial shift? I mean the first records and documentations of any civilization only started appearing after 3000 BC (after flood) if were talking history and archeology not the highly inaccurate carbon dating method
Mix R ....good question.....I have no confidence in any ability to provide evidence for his statement. The Biblical flood proceeded the ice age and later the people were divided at the Tower of Babel.....
Except that the ice age saw numerous (and extremely gradual) advances and retreats of glacial ice. The last one occurred over a period of a thousand years. Sea levels rose at a rate of about 1 meter per 100 years. That is significant, but it doesn't come anywhere near describing the flood of the Bible.
The aborigines of northern Australia have the rise in sea levels from the end of the last incorporated into their Dreamtime stories but nothing about any devastating flood that covered the land.
@@tallyhorizzla3330 I would venture to say that probably every human group that is ever existed has experienced some sort of catastrophic flood at some point in their history. I don't understand why people think that's evidence of something.

Rocks? Don't believe mainstream media. All rock formations and mountains we see today are remnants of giant trees that reached the heavens. The wood has petrified (that is the so called 'rock' you talk about) and the sap turns into quartz etc. Everything we have been taught by the so called authorities is a LIE. By the way, it's not a planeT it's a PLANE.
I don't believe in Flat earth, as it's just another thing that divides us. The so called prehistoric place in time is a half truth. Fallen angels cut down the trees in order to shrink every organism on Earth. Now, back to flat Earth. When God spoke of the "plane", God could have been speaking of Earth's level of existance, thought, or development. Before you bake a cake, the cake is plane(plain) before you put the icing on top.
What if the super continent Pangea, was Eden, an the flood event was so brutal because it separated the continents into what we know now. People wrongfully attributed the grand Canyon as a long process when it makes more sense with what's there that it happened really fast. Could the same be said for the splitting of the continents?
Genesis Apologetics has a much better and more comprehensive video exploring the theoretical dynamics of a global flood and how the soil/fossil levels were laid down. This guy was a mumbling and meandering mess.
That's a good thought there. I always thought maybe that happened when The Lord separated the people at the tower of babel, but your idea makes much more sense. Take care
I really like Dr. Wise and his enthusiasm. His findings seem like plausible evidence supporting the Noah Flood, and for me this aligns with other historical writings I have seen outside of the Scripture.
This is the guy who said: If all the evidence i universe demonstrated an old earth, I would still be a young earth creationist, because that is what the holy scripture tells me. And as the evidence of an old earth is undisputed with in the scientific community, Kurt's explanation is fabricated by him and his "friends". How can anyone ever believe in a person like him?
I work in Neurology and this happens when Drs begin discussing their disciplines among themselves and not directly to the patient. They prey on those who will make them sound the most intelligent. It's a real ego boost for them. They do this only after they've depleted their list of friends who are bored listening to their banal diatribe. Not to mention they love putting people down who have something they cherish in their lives. I guess when you're left with only you and your ego all that's left is running down Christians. They're too chicken to run down Muslims.
Basically, he's saying. The earth itself, is suggesting that there was a world-wide flood. These fossils are not separated by millions of years, but were living at the same time before the flood. Again, not millions of years apart. Then the Big water came and mixed everything. But in 12 spots of the world, they have the exact same layers as well as mixed layers in some places, and kept others unchanged. If you believe in Creation and the Flood, this is real evidence.
I would like to know why, in the discovery of all these fossils and bones, we never here you speak of human fossils. Many, many perished in the flood, where are the bones, etc for them?
So, if bulldozers were used to form the coastlines and giant trees were used to form mountains, which are parts of giant land art continental scale sculptures, would it explain what we see in the fossil record today? Could these bulldozers do what we think was caused by glaciers?

Talking about it on here and Facebook is about all I can come up with so far though I am trying to build a university for entrepreneurs in a historic decommissioned prison. I also discovered what the fruit was that Adam and Eve ate in the Garden of Eden and it wasn't an apple or an orange. It wasn't a lemon either but it is a sour fruit and most often turns quite bitter. Eating the fruit mean get'n attached to your concept of right and wrong;; i.e. allowing your judgment to get under your skin. Attachment is the eating part and judgment is the fruit produced by the knowledge of good and evil, the Tree's namesake. So if eating the fruit means getting offended then forgiveness it spitting the fruit up and grace means leaving it on the Tree, or reserving judgment, or at least your attachment to it. Once we spit the fruit out and quit eating it we regain access to the Tree of Life. "The synergy of applying our talents and interests to what we care about is the seed of purpose and purpose is the fruit of life. But the path to the tree of life is obscured by the masks we wear seeking validation and or approval from others." But before we can find our true purpose we have to learn how to be (authentic) true to ourselves. Being authentic can leave you feeling vulnerable. This is what it means to be naked in the Garden. Consider that Adam and Eve were naked when they were eating from the tree of life. Purpose is the fruit of life and community is the soil that we plant our purpose in. The Garden is where we cultivate our trees together. Do you want to hear the evidence for bulldozers? ...like the 8 mile wide tire tracks?

It's not just humans that are absent; most mammals, birds and flowering plants are absent as well. These organisms seem to represent an ecological community that existed before the Flood, but was not preserved in the fossil record like the communities inhabited by dinosaurs or trilobites. One suggestion as to why this is is that this ecological community was destroyed via subduction (this is when the Earth's crust is plunged into the Earth's interior) during the Flood. Another option to consider is that the original parts of the continents occupied by humans, mammals and flowering plants were located in parts of our modern continents that are now called shields. These are areas that have no rocks or fossils left behind from the Flood. Northeast Canada and a large part of Greenland compose one of these shields. The precise reason for the absence of this human/mammal/flowering plant community from the Flood fossil record awaits further insights from future research.
@@IsGenesisHistory Thanks you for the information. Boy could I have a long conversation with you in person. :) Has anyone tried doing core drilling in these "shield" areas? Frank
The entire surface of the earth was altered by mud and water flows including large rocks in what must have been like a huge grinder destroying most evidence of pre flood civilization. Still it may be possible that some of the last surviving humans not on the Ark could have died in caves etc. and be found fossilized.
This is wierd, hearing someone talking, allegedly scientifically, about Cambrian and Pre-Cambrian life and also suggesting the flood myth is true. Its like hearing someone talk about astronomy and then suggest that Ra actually carried the sun across the sky in a chariot.

@tsimahei Dr John Hartnett deals with the starlight problem ua-cam.com/video/KW8VJOBF3o0/v-deo.html

God's creation is true, and so is evolution. They are the same thing.
Time to start acting like it."*
This is Ad Hominem.
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." Isaiah 45:7
Technological evolution is well studied and documented in the applied sciences, displaying every salient characteristic of biological evolution, including 1) macroevolution 2) microevolution 3) inheritance 4) diversification 5) modifications made subject to selection, and even 6) puntuated equilibrium.
Amazing.

Hi. Are human bones ever found in any of the flood deposit?
None, the goal of the flood was to destroy humanity. Most people probably went to high ground and remained floating on the surface for some time. Then were eaten. Those which were buried before the recessive period of the flood would've been washed off the continents into the bottom of the oceans, so we wouldn't find them on land
@@cosmictreason2242
I wonder what was supposed to be eating those bodies?
How was ocean and fresh water life supposed to survive all those massive temperature and environmental changes?
The waters would have superheated from subterranean water rushing in. (the rushing in itself causing that already hot water to heat more). Any supposed water canopy doing the same thing. Then the mud and particulates all through the waters as a result of all this geological violence. It would have a worse effect on ocean life than having a year of our atmosphere heating up by over 20 degrees Centigrade and being full of volcanic ash for few months. You know- heat wave and unbreathable air.
Makes me think he really takes the verse seriously that tells us to always have a response in defense of Christainity.
But it's not a valid response. I'm a former atheist and crap like this made it very hard for me to come to faith. Evolution happened, and it will never go away. A much better response is to explain all the ways in which evolution reveals the glory of God (Romans 1:20)

@@paulbeahm3891 thank you for the thoughtful message. My point of contention with this video and messages like it is that there is far too much physical evidence which totally contradicts a single flood causing all of the rock strata and fossils. The Bible never tells us that this was the case, and science tells us that it is absolutely not the case. I agree that we should take a humble stance, and I think that includes respecting the authority of the scientific community on matters such as paleontology and geology just as we respect the authority of the Bible on matters such as God and Salvation. Both science and the Bible can be misinterpreted as we are fallible humans, but ultimately both science and the Bible contain the truth. When I look at the fossil record I see God's astounding creativity in all of the amazing diversity of life forms, I see God's decisive judgment in the selection of life forms, and I see God's long suffering patience with the amount of time it must have taken.

@@paulbeahm3891 You are right to question those who speak about science, but that is just the same as how you should also question those who speak about the Bible. There's plenty of bad teaching on both sides of that because humans have agendas. But the science itself can be trusted, that's why the internet we are talking on works. The "Bible" of science is the peer reviewed literature so just as you should check all theological teachings against the Bible, you should check all scientific claims against the peer reviewed literature. This can be intimidating for a layman, but with some effort and practice it's actually not too bad. An easy way to access the peer reviewed literature is through google scholar. And not all scientists are atheists. I think it's something like 2/3 of Nobel Laureates identify as Christians. And look at Francis Collins, who is the director of the NIH and who lead the Human Genome Project - and he also started a Christian ministry called BioLogos which has this as their mission statement: "We embrace the historical Christian faith, upholding the authority and inspiration of the Bible.
What makes you think the oceans were boiling hot? I’m not following
The precambrian was formed before the end of day 3
I would love to hear this doctors thoughts on Walt Brown's Hydroplate theory.

The word used in Hebrew is for 7 literal days.
That's not ancient Sumerian texts... that's Zachariah Sitchin.
The Bible stories all comes from the Sumerians, same, god, same angels, same Adam, same Eve, same Flood ( Gilgamesh )....

Genesis 1:7 KJ
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament And it was so.
By the time Moses recorded these words he used all pass tense words, were, was.
That separation of waters longer was around, the waters above had fallen to the esrth as the deluge.
This is also mentioned in 2 Peter 3:5
The firmament or expanse, atmosphere that all life would need so God was still preparing the earth for life.

Not necessarily true op
A humble Question. There was a flood covering all earth and all mountains. So that must have been immense amounts of Water, where the Heck did all that Water go to ?
It likly became the earth's oceans, it's a high probability that the continents were pushed upwards durring/after the cataclysm. And so the water simply rests around them.
Genesis 1: "Then God said: “Let there be an expanse between the waters, and let there be a division between the waters and the waters.” 7 Then God went on to make the expanse and divided the waters beneath the expanse from the waters above the expanse."
This indicates a water canopy above the expanse...... this water canopy kept the earth in a hothouse type of state.
6 But a mist would go up from the earth, and it watered the entire surface of the ground."
No rain before the flood and no rainbow...... a wonderful mild ecosystem.
Yes yes yes ! You have it got it totally nailed. You understand.
So this is why our life spans are so pathetically short compared to previous generations

That's a good thought there. I always thought maybe that happened when The Lord separated the people at the tower of babel, but your idea makes much more sense. Take care
yes.i think so...although maybe not all at once.i imagine pangaea cracked and new landmasses formed before the full flood break up
No, Eden was one place in the center of the continent
No.
More pictures more 3d models more google Earth. I couldn't get a clear picture of what was going on.
Is this lecture about the pre-flood world or in biology and microbiology?!!!
This is all wrong - shockingly horrifyingly wrong.
Total fiction....
Your on one Boulder! It's very interesting!🤣🤣❤❤
I love fairy tales! Thank you for this.
“I LovE fAiRY tALes!” 🤪🤪🤪🤪
I really like Dr. Wise and his enthusiasm. His findings seem like plausible evidence supporting the Noah Flood, and for me this aligns with other historical writings I have seen outside of the Scripture.
This is the guy who said:
If all the evidence i universe demonstrated an old earth, I would still be a young earth creationist, because that is what the holy scripture tells me.
And as the evidence of an old earth is undisputed with in the scientific community, Kurt's explanation is fabricated by him and his "friends".
How can anyone ever believe in a person like him?
I wish Dr. Wise could explain Sharon conglomerate to me.
Research mudfossils... the world is stranger than you can imagine.
Thanks, you made me laugh watching a geological presentation. That is something!
He looses his train of thought or he's trying to cover more than one topic but he's lecture is very disjointed. :(
I work in Neurology and this happens when Drs begin discussing their disciplines among themselves and not directly to the patient. They will ramble and ramble bringing in all kinds of therapies, causes, processes and I often get the task of "translating." They are not salesmen and we are used to sales talk. Listening to him reminded me of college days with friends and professors. He loves this stuff and is not trying to sell and we end up getting confused. ;)
Imagination only !
Enjoy the On-site Discussions much better, but this is real presentation verses Evolutionary Belief/Theory.
I Noticed by commenting below too many thirsty atheists have NOTHING better 2 do then Troll ppl who have FAITH in God Almighty

Consider both young and old are true being taken out of context and time. There is no conflict of the two, only confusion for lack of understanding.
Nope, only YEC is true
Epic levels of absolute waffle..in fact, a flood if it. 5 mins in...and I'm out.
I would like to know why,
in the discovery of all these fossils and bones, we never here you speak of human fossils.
Many, many perished in the flood, where are the bones, etc for them?
Hate these just talk lecture ones I can’t stay interested
Children need pictures in their books. Adults with wisdom and a decent IQ have an attention span.
So, if bulldozers were used to form the coastlines and giant trees were used to form mountains, which are parts of giant land art continental scale sculptures, would it explain what we see in the fossil record today? Could these bulldozers do what we think was caused by glaciers?
...because I can show evidence of bulldozers including 8 mile wide tire tracks and blade marks up to 400 miles wide.
@@timothyappleseed2986
Actually you can show no such evidence. If you could you would have already done so and revolutionised geology, archæology, technology, science and all human knowledge. You'd also have made more money than anyone else ever has.
You haven't.
@@philaypeephilippotter6532 Well, I just found it last year and I don't have much of a platform.
But the path to the tree of life is obscured by the masks we wear seeking validation and or approval from others."
But before we can find our true purpose we have to learn how to be (authentic) true to ourselves.
@@timothyappleseed2986
Do you have to take lessons in idiocy or does it come naturally?
@@philaypeephilippotter6532 ad hominem attacks are a sign of denial. You obviously don't want to see the tire tracks just like I didn't want to see that the Twin Towers and WTC7 were brought down by controlled demolition.
This is beyond ridiculous 🤣
Out of the world ! He must be an alien !
Where's all the human (pre-flood humans) remains?
Has anyone tried doing core drilling in these "shield" areas?
Frank
The entire surface of the earth was altered by mud and water flows including large rocks in what must have been like a huge grinder destroying most evidence of pre flood civilization. Still it may be possible that some of the last surviving humans not on the Ark could have died in caves etc. and be found fossilized.
@@q-man762 Makes sense. Thanks
This is wierd, hearing someone talking, allegedly scientifically, about Cambrian and Pre-Cambrian life and also suggesting the flood myth is true. Its like hearing someone talk about astronomy and then suggest that Ra actually carried the sun across the sky in a chariot.
check out Prof. Walter Veith's youtube: "The Fossil Record Speaks" --he taught evolution theory for many years before questioning his beliefs and looking at the actual science.
Yeah. That's what he's saying. He's saying the evidence that they're finding, in the world out there, is disproving those "time periods" it's not weird. I'd say that's amazing. That the sediments themselves are disproving theories that suggest evolution, but do confirm a world-wide flood. Where else is there a flood story.?
@@airaielion Nothing discovered in the last 150 years has cast any doubt on evolution. the phylogenetic analysisof species genomes alone has proven that common descent of all life and therefore evolution is true. To think that there was ever a global flood is imbecilic!
Matt Holton ok. Thanks.
Kent Hovind, Walter Veith, Ravi Zacharia ect... In all aspects of life you will find JESUS. The book of Daniel, the timeline of great kingdoms, the real mt Sinai. Noahs ark on mount Ararat, the oldest known Civilization Mesopotamia thats next to modern day Turkey.... Its way too much to mention, you have to have more faith to believe in evolution, than to believe God made everything.... Ie its easier to believe in Jesus....
