Diane: that little book is fun to look at. When I was married, my husband and I bought two wicker chairs at a van and storage company called Busvan’s, on Clement St,in San Francisco. We had those chairs in our den for years. They were painted black with a black and white check cover. They were very comfortable. When we moved to a condo, we gave them away to a friend, who still has them. I was into recycling way before anyone ever thought about it. Busvan’s was a great place to find furniture. In fact, I still have two other pieces that we bought with me. A fabulous cherry/ebony mirror and a French bench. Boy, did you take me down memory lane. Haha Carol from California
Hi! Thank you! Hmm... black wicker with check covers-- that sounds really cute. Maybe I should redo the entire room so I can have black wicker! The trouble is the walls, at present, are very dark so black furniture would not work (the white looks good). Anyway, thanks for sharing! 😄
I have a cane peacock chair that I have spray painted so many different times. It’s blue atm. Has also been purple, white, yellow. Have fun altering yours. Like how your small glue book pages came out 🤗🌻
