It wasn’t unusually big and matched her face. I think we really can be our own worst critic because I didn’t see what she saw.

The way that sister minimizes the teasing she inflicted. Makes my blood boil. Plus this poor woman felt she had to apologize to her mom for not telling her about the surgery??? Mom needs to apologize to her daughter for allowing her other children to treat this woman so badly from age 9.

It’s so fing annoying “we were just joking!” But then at the same time she admits it was terrïble and she feels bad about it, and that’s why she’s there. I wonder if she truly even cares at all, or she’s just there bc she feels guilty af and this is a self-serving way of making herself feel better.

I also grew up being teased about my nose. I would get “are you eating a banana or is that your nose” “are you playing the flute or is that your nose” fortunately for me I couldn’t afford a nose job. When I finally could, I was lucky to meet the right surgeon, he told me he wouldn’t touch my face, that I was beautiful the way I was. I was shocked, he was turning down money, but… I didn’t look for another surgeon. I guess I grew into my nose…

What Dr Nassif achieved with Norina's rhinoplasty is miraculous what a great doctor and surgeon he is. I an so happy for Norina. I hate 'teasing' to me it is bullying her darned family should have kept their spiteful comments to themselves and what's the betting it hasn't stopped I am glad I don't have a family in which bullying, whoops teasing is the order of the day. If I were Norina I would ditch the family

I know everyone keeps saying her family made fun of her and that’s awful, but she said she teased her sister too. Not saying its right, but saying she took part too.
The difference is she owns up to it.
Her family abused her to the point where she was so distraught that she sought out plastic surgery, which went horribly wrong for her. They have the audacity to gaslight her to the point where she feels guilty about not discussing it beforehand. If your relatives call you “cannoli nose” how in the heck can you be expected to trust them for support? I hope that they stumble across this comment section! Pack of monsters.

Curious why the surgeons don’t use balloon under the skin over a few weeks to stretch the skin a bit before surgery like this, so they have a little extra to work with.

She finally looks like she is part of the family. Sarcasm literally means little cuts. Every time you take jabs at someone, especially a child, you are injuring them. The insults were serious. I hope they all learned a valuable lesson from this ordeal. If you can't say something kind, don't say anything at all.

Well said . My mom has always been very sarcastic and has made jabs at me my whole life. From her perspective, she thinks it’s fun and amusing, like she’s a character on Will and Grace, but it’s really done a number on me.
