what is the ratio between applicants and people accepted into the nursing program?
If you can choose, out of Liberty Univ., GCU and CBU, which univ can be your top pick for BSN? My daughter should make a decision soon.
Hi! I am currently a freshman at GCU! I am in prenursing, this video was super helpful!! What do you think is the hardest class? I just got done with BIO201 and BIO201L and I got an A- in both.
Angela Ficarotta I also got an A- in both those classes, congrats! 100% my hardest class was microbiology, but that may because i was taking it with both stats and pathophysiology! But i just found out I got all A’s this semester, so it’s definitely doable!
How hard was the anatomy &physio 1 at GCU ?
I’m going to start was wondering what can I do to make sure that I get an A ?
How long was you course ,mine is only couple of weeks
Is it hard to get into GCU’s nursing program? What happens if you apply but don’t end up getting into the program?
Why doing Bio 202 when i need Anatomhy & physio ?
Hello Im applying for GCU Summer 2021. I just wanted to know your opinion about me getting in. I had just finished my fall semester meaning I am going to apply with the current gpa. My GPA is not too great, a 3.37gpa but my hesi score is at a 94.8%? Would you consider my balance of the two average? Do you know if others in your cohort or in the nursing program had similar scores as me? Or eve lower? What was the lowest GPA you heard of people getting in? I really messed up during my classes but as you can see, I tried really hard on the HESI? Let me know your opinions and keep up the videos!
Hi, I'm applying for the nursing program at gcu soon and I was just wondering how everything went for you? I have similar stats and just wanted to get a feel for things. Thanks!
What is the total cost of CGUs program?
about $50,000
Hey how did you study for the hesi? Did you get any study books?
Yes! I just got a Hesi A2 study book and then quizzed myself in all the categories, then prioritized my studying based on what i did the worst in! I studied for a month before i took my first one:)
I just applied because it said bsn and I want a bachelors in nursing 😭

Is there a limited number of spaces for the nursing program?
Kayla Garcia yes! it is a very competitive program, it’s not the same every year but i would say they accept around 120 ish each semester
Camilla Vanilla it really just all depends on how many people apply for that specific semester, so i can’t give you a specific number. I can tell you however these are the semesters least competitive to most: summer, spring, then fall. hope this helps:))
@ari I am planning on apply for the nursing program in 2020 do you think I have an advantage in getttjng in since I am a 4 year HEAL (health, environmental, academy, of learning)

Are the nursing classes proctored?
Wait is GCU legit online nursing program?
no it is on ground!!:)
So for the math section, we are allowed to use our calculators?
the calculator is included on the computer screen!!
ari was there any biology questions like mitosis or meiosis? I know we only have to take the anatomy portion of the hesi but would bio questions be included?
@@nneomaizima2536 i really don't think so.. i believe there is a separate biology section that GCU students don't have to touch. i took this 2 years ago so i could be wrong, this is just from what i remember:))
Do they consider volunteer work?
No:( All they look at is your HESI score (the better one), your regular GPA, and your nursing GPA.
If you do not get into the nursing program first try, are you able to try again? And what year of college do you apply for nursing school?
For GCU specifically, if you do not get in your first time you can try again but this counts as your one and only second chance. What I mean by this is if you fail a level of nursing school you are done for good whereas if you got in first attempt and fail a level you can continue on. In short, make absolute sure that you are ready to apply. You apply during your 4th semester of college, or a second semester sophomore:)
