Honestly they transcend genres because they are influenced by hip hop, r&b, as well as pop and electronic music. They easily have the most gifted line-up in any girl group out today. Their influences are heavily focused in the 90's and early 2000's. To hear another side of their versatility, I recommend that you listen to the vocal lines cover of "Losing You." Another fun one to listen too if you want more rap focused would be X-Gene (short but showcases their rap abilities again). I’m glad you found XG! I watched through your BlackPink journey. This is their most rap heavy commercial release. As you will learn, they are all Japanese, based in South Korea, they are NOT K-Pop, maybe by proxy or adjacent. They have amazing vocalists too. Their commercial releases are all English. There are 7 members. They also have a Tape series which showcase their rap line. The Vox series that showcase the vocal line. And the Move series which show case their dancing, which they are nearly unmatched at. The best way to learn them individually is Tape #2 Galz Xypher and Vox #5 XGlee Club. Hope this helps

Fair enough since they members are Japanese, but based in Korea and used the Korean training system to be formed, but they rap/sing predominantly in English. That said, the definition of kpop is very broad and always changing, so I personally consider them kpop.
I find that quite interesting that you mentioned you started off going into K-pop with BLACK PINK I myself am a blink fan of BLACK PINK And I also watch the growth of baby monster through their training all the way up to their debut, which was BATTER UP but you already know that…. But that’s not the group that got me into K-pop and surprising not BTS as well‼️🫶🏼 but it was XG that made me want to explore K-pop and J-pop. And btw…. XG is not considered any of those genres, but they’re more known as X-pop known more as international group which appeal to everybody. I first been an alpha, which is the fandom name for XG ever since extra extra the documentary about the girls came out. There 7-member group all Japanese based out in Korea 4 out of the seven are raper’s/ MC’s the other 3 are the vocal line but all 7-members can sing 🎶 As if that isn’t enough, their skilled dancer 💃🏽 but that’s not what makes them special.
