Charlie answered all the questions that I had as a kid about why Cameo made certain changes and now I know why Anthony Lockett didn't turned to gospel after " Nights of the sound table". I felt the same way about " Just be yourself " . I wanted to hear about I owe it all to you" as well. Great interview.

Initially I was skeptical about watching this video because of the duration of time but since I have terminal Cameosis, I thought what the hell, I'll sit through it. Well it turned out to one the best, most insightful, and often times funny interviews on a true musician, Charlie Singleton. Even, the interviewer, Eddie Fluellen, made viewing this an absolute pleasure. You could tell he was a true fan and had (has) acute Cameosis as well. Charlie is a better guitar player than Jesse; plus he was a better and much more talented vocalist. It's a shame Cameo has been overcome by so much dissension and that it seems to be Larry vs the world; these dudes were masters of funk but it appears that the "ugly ego" got the best of them in the end after a legendary 30 to 40 solid year run!
POPPYCOCK! Charlie is still handling his business! Jesse still hitting majors and minors, while Charlie hitting 7#9s, min7 flat 5s, MinMajs, you name it! Plus Charlie plays far more instruments than Jesse!

They both are great! Singleton may be a little more versitile because of his jazz background.
