hi Daniel! are you press the sustain pedal when you play the string patches, how can be so sustained without mess? or is the reverb tail that holding them?
Albion I - "All Horns & Trombone Longs EQ'ed" - I don't have this as an instrument. Does anyone have these collections with you ? Or has @Daniel James created his own samples ?
Could you show us how your FX, reverb EQ settings look like? I am building up my template and boy I have a hard time having my stuff sound like yours. I got mostly the same libraries. If you could that be so awesome! Like how are your libraries processed to sound.
@Daniel James 34:37 in EXHALE the loops selection gives you either the original key of the loop or you can pick a key in the top right corner (Next MACROS). I think the same with Slices as well.
I have to admit I was surprised to see how close the working process is to what I'm doing as an EDM producer. And even more surprised of how much you do in the midi editor. I always thought you guys knock these lines down in a one take recording. But glad to see that we all use the same libraries, same plugins and the same techniques to get our work done and still can provide music for two total different markets. Keep it up, man.
Short answer: No. Slightly longer answer: You could also just accept the temporary path that Cubase gives you, save the project there and rename the folder and/or the project file afterwards (from your OS / file explorer). If that’s really „better“...? I don’t know.
@@DJLA No issue!! It's just funny to me cause you usually review current libraries and Exhale is usually used for pop. I didn't mean it in a deflationary way, it's one of my favourite libraries I use it all the time, I wish they'd make a sequel!
@@SubscribersWithoutAnySubscribe Oh sorry mate didn't mean to sound annoyed which I guess I did. I just get genuine questions like that sometimes and I never quite understand why there is an issue with using stuff that didn't just come out. Yes its an awesome lib and I want MORE! xD
@@DJLA Not at all, big fan of what you're doing and thanks for showing us all how to use Exhale in a hybrid orchestral context! I wonder if I could push my luck here and squeeze in an unrelated question. Do you know of any successful composers that are on anti-depressants? I've been considering taking them but haven't heard of many creatives who do, and a bit worried that they might put me in too 'neutral' of an emotional state to be properly creative. Totally understand if you can't or are too busy to answer, but just thought I'd ask because it's really hard to get information about composers and mental health.
Such a beautiful melody your a fantastic composer. I can endless lisen to your melodys and dreaming.
25:36 "How do I turn the IQ back on?"
Now there's a question I'd like an answer to, as well...
Anyone knows what is the percussion library called?
I use a large combination of percussion libraries that changes quite often. I get a lot of use out of HZ Perc, and the 8dio epic percs usually.
don't drink coke too much we will miss you :D
hi Daniel! are you press the sustain pedal when you play the string patches, how can be so sustained without mess? or is the reverb tail that holding them?
Please please please Daniel, I'm missing one component: 01 Drum Kit Ensemble - Main - Kit
Big thanks

dhol_stick_mw ????? MIDI Ch: 6
Epic_Toms_All ????? MIDI Ch: 7
Thanks
They are both from 8dio if that is the question?
@@DJLA Many thanks
You need to make just 1 EDM track, just one (something dubstepish) XD. With your taste of hybrid, it would be insane and you know it

You make penciling in orchestration look easy. Great Session!

A person studying music.
Video help has been a lot.
Thank you very much.
Daniel that was an amazing composing video...!!!thank you!!!!
You should release a Diva soundest!
Hey, Heyyyyyyy ♪
Fantastic melody, you are the best composer !!!
I think it's brilliant what you do. It explains so much how to compose and how to get results that work. Great thanks
I love this kind of video !

You could make a track with the 1 dollar synth :)

Hey Daniel will you please do a vid about some of your favorite Kontakt libraries? Unless you already did. I just looked but I didn't see one.
Daniel whats the song that you played in the beginning when showing that aggressive sound on diva?
The lesson about the composing muscle and rusting was a great one besides the actual composing. Thanks.
that resident evil basement music at the beginning. :D
Thanks for sharing your music. Wasn't raggin the radio show, just thought it was too frequent .
Been wanting to try exhale for a while. Wish they had a monthly rent-to-own type thing
How do you stop all the sounds blowing each other out? do you do on the master channel ?
Love your T shirt :)
Loved every minute of this. Looking forward to the next vids!
I enjoy watching others’ creative process. 👌
Do you have a better solution than "Backup Project" to save out a new project from your scratch work, like you did at about 29:35? Thanks!

This is so cool :)
3:07 2 unlimited - no limit ? how the hell do you know that old song from the netherlands lol
It was big one summer hit lol
Amazing, thank you
LETS GET IT!!'

0:26 nice jazz lick.
No "Today"?!
May I ask what library do you use at 22:15? Great video by the way.
Project Chaos, his own library
thank you
HI
Lol, reviewing exhale in 2019
It's a composing stream, and I still use older libraries. I don't see the issue.
