I will definitely be watching your Tapestry playthrough! That's a top ten game for us. The expansions are all fantastic as well, individually or in combination. Appreciate your amazing content!
Last month I played Dungeons, Dice, and Danger; Food Chain Island; Zombicide: Undead or Alive; The Whatnot Cabinet; and Next Station: London (all solo).
Hey Jenna, would you consider to play the solo game of the month at the start of the month? That's the time I be came inspired for the game so so much. I immediately think let's play the game for a hole month, shall we? And if you play it for the end of the month a other game gets already introduced.
That is a very good point! Thanks for the feedback Angelique! Next month I will schedule a livestream at the beginning of the month! Maybe we do both? One at the beginning and one at the end? 😊
Been playing Legacy of Yu all the time in April - getting ready to start a second campaign after winning my first. Excellent game and a real fun time! You’ll love it!!
Uhhh I have played Legacy of Yu a few times, LOVE IT! I also got Resist in the mail recently, have yet to play but already backed The Hunt because I love the art and think the games will be so much fun!
Played five games of Legacy of Yu, lost three and won two. Really been enjoying the games but not sure about repayable after completing the campaign. Even with only seeing 40-60 % of the games after one campaign I think I still prefer Raiders of Scythia more. Take care
The red/purple meeples on the Hadrian's wall fate cards is for future printings of the game, which will have red meeples replacing purple. Has to do with colour accessibility for those who struggle with that
The solo Viticulture game is balanced around including the area control map. I think you will find it too easy if you take that portion out. You can also use your bonus glass beads to place an extra star when placing a worker. Then you will only need this location 3 times. There is a second bonus area in winter where you sell wine that allows you to place a star, too. But you will always lose the area control with the AI because it gets to place additional stars and you are limited to 6. Don't worry about that; you just have to factor in those additional points for endgame scoring and realize that you need more than the 25 points it starts on to win.
Rebecca is correct. The way the Automa is designed, you are not suppose to be able to beat Automa on the influence map. Your goal there is just to switch some of those VP from her to you, while at the same time, you are gaining some stuff, such as visitor cards, to help you out elsewhere. One more thing... the bonus for the place star action is to place a second star, making that a very strong choice. Try beating Automa on two of the three regions that a worth 2VP, choosing the ones where the associated bonus is most useful to you. Hope that helps.
Hi! My name is Summer! I Love your channel! Also I'm a huge coffee lover too! Here are the games I played in April with my hubby/solo/with friends: 25 plays all together 19 different games: Horrified, "ugh" the card game, pacman the card game, Canvas, Colt Express, Scooby Doo the board game, Mansions of Madness, 2 games of Final Girl(I won 1 and died 1), 9 plays of Button shy: Revolver Noir-Food Chain Island-Ugly Gryphon Inn-Wonder Tales, Patchwork Halloween, Zombie dice with Bus, LOTR dice, Back to the future. Hubby played solo: Solitaire, 10/20/30-Solitaire, Button shy: Food Chain Island and Ugly Gryphon Inn Have a beautiful day!
Hey Summer! Thank you so much! I'm so so glad you enjoy the content! 🥰 YESSS! ☕ WOW! You had a fantastic month of gaming! I hope May is going just as well! 😊
I bought wayfarer's tale after your 3 sisters livestream. I played one game and then put it aside. It was alot of fun, but decided to wait for the group play before going much further with it.
There are so many great Print & Play games coming out lately! I hope they get a physical version someday :) My favorites are Island Alone, Shutz Tactics and Roll&Meow: The Cat Burglars- this one is a whole new level in PnP , looks great and has mega innovative mechanics, brilliant game. But there are a lot of hidden gems in this category....
April was a bit of a slow gaming month for me, but I did play a lot of Final Girl. My Series 2 KS finally came in, so I played through all of the feature films in the series, and I'll probably be going back through them again in May. One of my absolute favorite games. I also played a bit of solo Turing Machine.
Jenna, I was in the twitch stream earlier today. I played my first game of Delicious tonight. nice little game. though it was going to be a no brainer game but some thought goes into it. nice game. you can get a couple games in, in no time.
Good luck with Resist. Be prepared for you first game to be like, 'How the heck am I supposed to win that battle!' 😆 It's a very interesting puzzle, timing how you play your cards to get more cards throughout your turn and not let go of the really powerful ones. I definitely enjoyed my subsequent plays more than the first.
I like 3 sisters very much, it's on my table waiting for me. Motor City was just released here (made by the same team) but it's a bit expensive for a simple R 'n W. Unfortunately I don't think the game will be localized/imported/translated in French. I got : - Miller Zoo, because I heard much good reviews about it. However, I think it's a very light familiar game (I didn't try it yet). Anyway, it's a nice thing if that purchase can help the zoo. - and Earth of course which I enjoy a lot! The intensity of the game makes me think of Wingspan. I'm waiting for Next Station Tokyo. I don't know if I'll buy Revive, but the title attracts me a lot. Have you tried Final Girl yet? I don't remember! I'm afraid that the game might be a bit punitive, but I love the theme! (My birthday is coming soon lol!) I'll watch your solo play through of Tapestry! I don't know much about this game, except that I heard a lot of good things about it. It's a shame that I don't have time to follow your games on Twitch! thanks for the video and the reviews
Very nice Hécate! 🥰 I have tried Final Girl a few times and I really enjoy it! It's challenging but never feels super punishing. If you aren't successful it's really easy to start again. Not sure if you know about my second channel "The Board Game Garden TV" but I put all of our Twitch livestreams up there as UA-cam videos. 😊👍🏻
Hi Jenna! Have you made a video talking about merchants cove? I also have the base game and I can see in the video that you have the expansions. Would love to hear what you think about them!!!
Finally got Verdant back out and learned Suburbia! Very very good solo experience, for those that like Castles of Burgundy, it gives you that same experience but mixed with a more economic game vibe
Raiders of Scythia is currently the only one I own from that series. It is quite good and has a great solo AI
It's definitely one I want to try soon! 😊

Just played Architects of the West Kingdom solo and will be working in the expansions. Really looking forward to Legacy of Yu!
Coffee is life ✌😊
YESSS! ☕💕

I'd second this. ;)

That's even better of course. 🥰

Hmmm what’s your preferred way of brewing coffee?
Day to day is just a Nespresso machine but when I am feeling fancy I'll do french press with freshly ground coffee beans. 😊☕

Also, I am very jealous of your copy of legacy of yu! I'll be getting my own but have to wait for a couple preorders to release at Bliss...
AHHH! Makes sense! Thanks for letting me know! 😊 I hope you can get your copy of Legacy Of Yu soon! It is AMAZING!

Legacy of Yu! Should have backed that... looks awesome :)

@@TheBoardGameGarden I find your channel so peaceful! Thanks for your time and effort! Enjoy your day!
New to the channel! I'm so happy that I've found it. I've been playing Ramen Ramen solo and find it so fun and relaxing.
Awh! Welcome to the garden Mary! Thank you so much for watching and commenting. 😊 I need to check out this Ramen Ramen!

Playing my second game of Legacy of Yu tonight! Lost my first one, but it was very close. So I'm hoping for a win tonight.

I talked a bit about it in my last months wrap up video! 😊
Have you tried 'set a watch' and its expansion? Just came across them and they are great solo games!
I haven't but I would love to try it sometime! It looks great along with Merchants Of Magick by Rock Manor as well! 😊
