- The third video in my series discussing the top 3 benefits of music therapy in each population I've worked with. Obviously, there are many more benefits of music therapy than those I discuss in this video! However, these should give you a good idea of how music therapy can be best utilized.
1. Opportunities to succeed and build self-esteem
2. Non-speaking and speaking communication
3. Social skills and emotional regulation

Hello Mai!
I am a high school student currently working on a scholar multidisciplinary project. My classmates and I chose music therapy as our topic ( as music enthusiasts, we are hoping to raise awareness about this form of therapy, which is rather unrecognized in our country 🙈) While conducting our research, we stumbled upon your UA-cam channel. First of all, we want to thank you :) your content has helped us immensely in our research. My classmates and I also considered contacting a music therapist, so I decided to check out your website hoping to get in touch with you. I clicked on the book a free consultation option, filled in the credentials (name, email etc...) and left a message: you see, my classmates and I were wondering if it would be possible to conduct an online interview regarding music therapy. We would be delighted to have the opportunity to directly ask you further questions regarding this topic. There are more details in the message.
Thank you so much for your time!
*People with disabilities* remember people first language. 😁
Love this!
Hi ShyAnne, thanks for your comment! Advocates in the disability community have asked that we start using identity first language, as their disability is a part of them and not something to be ashamed of 😊
@@CreativeVibesMT I think there was a misunderstanding, as I definitely agree that no one should be ashamed of their disability. I'm currently working on a Master's in special education and have been taught to use people first language. This is also the expectation from the Council for Exceptional Children and part of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. I'll seek guidance from those with disabilities moving forward since it seems maybe there is a shift taking place. Thank you!
@@shyannewoodsgroberg3082 My apologies, I didn't mean to say that you didn't agree with that! Yes, there has been a lot of change regarding language we use, but please let me know if I'm incorrect! Thank you!
