Recently, i gave some money to an old man who did not had his right hand, and his left hand was misfigured so i felt sorry for him and gave him. Few days later i saw that same old man, with his disfigured hand, smoking cigarette. From that i have stopped giving to the beggars here and only give to someone who really looks like he needs. Another thing like this happened when i when to the store to buy bread. When i was about to leave i felt a strong scent of cigarette come on the place i was. When i left the store and saw there was another old man. And when i was about to leave that old man came near me and asked me for money, and i said to him "I'll give you money once you stop smoking. Fromt this experience, i have decided to only donate to islamic charity funds since they know how to deal with these things and i can be sure my money being spent in the right way.
Yes most beg for money for drugs or the likes but not all of them. you can always give them food. If a kid or someone comes to me i give them food rather than money, the poor kids are sometimes forced to beg by their parents. Do listen to their stories, sometimes just listening is also good. Amd give them words of wisdom from the quran and sunnah.
Yeah and these beggars are common in mosques here. They don't come to our houses but beg when we exit the mosque after the jummah. I usually donate my money when the mosque is collecting donation to build a Quran course or build a new mosque, a minaret for exame.
Beggers in my country are rich man, they got house and rent them out. But on froday they wear shabby clothes and come to another town and begg infront of mosques. People think they are poor and spare them some money and in the end of the month they are earning more than me And the bitter point - they don’t pay tax
Not lying, you will say I don't have ( in your mind dollar 💰) . It's not lying because you said you don't any dollar, you have euro 💶 or another currency
There are lots of organised beggars, who operate within a selected area and then share the money amongst themselves. There are also other local powerful people behind such operations who basically operate as gangs. Most consisting of fakes. Things are not as simple as they seem unfortunately. Unless it's someone you know personally, it's never safe. But Allah knows best.
@@MKIS_33 just give your money and move on mate, do it for the sake of Allah. Allah has given you enough if you can give charity. Even if there's a 1/10 chance the money is going to someone in need, give it.
@@الحمدلله101 ya that's what I do too. we got locals we know and mosques and stuff. Thinking too hard about stuff we can't control ain't gonna do much lol.

You can help someone around you, who are needy. Like for education, monthly ration. You can give sadqa with your own hand.

Common thing in Bangladesh also
Beggars don't become rich when you spare them a few cents. Of course they will continue begging. What sort of logic is this?
