Ashley drops everything she picks up, so you can just go pick them up as soon as you start playing as Leon again. You'll find her droppings, (droppings? LOL I meant you'll find her treasures) near the doorway entrance to the library, next to the 3-headed statute. To co-sign what some others have posted: Return to the library as Leon, repeat her path and grab everything. Hope this helps:)
This is what happened to me, i did the shortcut way without realizing it, then i tried to use the elevator with the keys but it didnt work, then all the knights blocked me inside the elevator
the worst part of the whole game. On Pro you have more obstacles in the armory and the timing is very tight which makes it due to cutscenes and camera resets during animations really frustrating

did this by total accident, missed all the treasures but hey made my first playthrough 17 hours 58 minutes instead of 18 hours :D

cant you go back there with leon and get all the treasure later? just finished my first playthrough and went back there to get everything

I watched it and did this on my professional playthrough just so I can go back as leon and get all the treasures
Can Leon still get the keys to the chests?
