I think it’s very emotional for the older generation in India and Pakistan because they remember a lot of changes that happened prior to the partition with India and Pakistan which separated many friends and even families. There are so many such stories from partition. My maternal grandfather was 4 at the time of partition. He used to tell us how he had to keep up along with the caravan migrating from Pakistan to India along-with his whole family. Its beautiful how these old people describe their childhood homes. 😊
