Not something that should make a difference for this gen, but keep in mind grinding the same kinds of mons, even from trainer battles will EV train your Pokémon in a more “focused” way. You’ll see with the level up to 58 bigthictom gained 10 attack, and that is from the fighting types you fought to get to the level. It’s Pokémon based, but the ones you fought did have attack values. Like I said not really something I care about, but thought it would be nice to point out for you guys. I can’t wait for the end, and you guys have done a great job.

Should have saved these candies for the last stretch just before going into the Elite Four. These lower levels are less xp and the grind would be easier.

Dont miss the opportunity to elevate the channel with this momentum.. start up soul silver with some modifications to the sub/reward structure (names should be higher in price, honestly) but keep the game as is, makes it way more relatable for the audience.. makes it more authentic for nick.. i know he asked for candies.. but you gotta tell the kids no sometimes, you know?
Using rare candy to level a level 50 pokemon is not fair 😅 It meant for the lower levels so you stop the grind
havent finished the VOD but I feel it's kinda a shame someone planted the seed for them to cheat in rare candies. I was enjoying the chill hangout while they were grindin, and Nick seemed to be enjoying it too so I was all good with that. I feel like knowing you can mod the candies will give them a bit of an existential crisis in regards to the game but maybe that's just me lol. at the end of the day I want them to keep enjoying the experience tho so whatever does the trick
edit: oh god now they're flirting with adding even more candies for next time. this is the existential crisis that happens when you glitch in candies. at the point what stops you from adding more, and it makes all your actual efforts feel pointless to go through
I will gladly push back on it being "Cheating".
The guys played well, and put in the hours. They lost some critical pieces to the team and it's still not a guarantee they will get through the Elite 4 unscathed.
It's good to leave the series on a high note instead of dragging it out too long.

they were enjoying it before and now they keep flirting with adding even more rare candies, and now I fear it might end anti climatically if they just load a bunch of candies at the end but I've never watched a nuzlocke before so idk maybe not.
We've been robbed of genuine content.. nick has been robbed of a genuine experience.
Quit milking the series and finish it. You're more than strong enough. And do the next one more lose. Unfortunately waaaay to many precautions were taken with help from chat and guides that caused a lot of missed opportunities of failure that is essential in a nuzlocke. But all in all enjoyed the ride just some constructive criticism
Couldn’t disagree more about them milking it, I and most others don’t want it to stop. A huge part of the fun is chilling with the guys just hanging out having fun, its the journey not the destination.

@@brendanroe8604I don’t know if you missed it, but Andy talked about how hard it would be to do DS games, which doesn’t actually leave a ton of options. There’s only a couple gens on GB Advance and then Switch games. I doubt Nick is going to want to go back and play older versions than this either.
