Bro, I think in the past you were having a catharsis about the insane, confusing, & frustrating world around you, & have now grown out of it. You now seem more civilized, level headed, & open-minded. You can still call a spade a spade though, but with the consideration on whether the words used to convey such facts have a fruitful result.
PS: Love you man, & all the best!

I like your advice by the way; '"Avoid insensitive people who flap their gums to bring others down, & to uplift themselves from it."'

I have to say that this new Foreigner is a really motivating speaker and I like him a lot. You may believe it but I did your conversion to Christianity inspires me greatly; if you can find Jesus maybe I can too. Thank you for that inspiration!

To be more gentle towards yourself takes time and it is not instant,to try to not look to the negatives every time something bad happens, trust me i know a lot about that considering i had mental issues when was younger it has gotten better these last few years and i feel great and i hope to continue it forwards

Beautifully said! I love the way you have grown as a person. It's very similar to my own journey, where I did a lot of work with my prolific inner critic (based on toxic adults in my childhood). It saved my relationship with myself and enabled me to be a safe person for my children to be around, but It also improved all of my other relationships and gave me an entirely new understanding of other peoples struggles.

Thank you. This is great advice. I am going to be more mindful of the things I say from now on. I think I got caught up in fad of putting down myself and everyone else around me when it became normalised in society. I never really stopped to think of what it could be doing, because I saw everyone else acting this way.

i recently had to end a very long friendship because she has always taken out her issues on me and I always let her because of how unwell she is and how she has it worse and blah blah blah, I always felt bad but eventually I started to feel at fault for her emotions, it took a long time before i realised wtf she was doing to me. It was difficult to work through but i've realised it has nothing to do with me, she just won't accept to herself what her flaws or issues are and projects them onto me in defense, so just gotta let that friendship go cause she's not ready to deal with her issues.. so i really resonate with your feelings. I feel so much lighter.

One thing you should also understand is that human brains process negations really badly. That's why when you try tell yourself not this or don't that you always fail. You should start thinking positively, not just positive things, but avoid negations and instead for example tell yourself to "stay cool" or "stay focused" etc. This is a real thing.

Self esteem is imagined. So its better to come to terms with it as it is, rather than finding some crazy scheme that validates your imagination...

Good video. This can go to the extreme either way tho, a strong message Bruce always put out there was, balance.
I've never been very good at casting spells that soothe myself in fear of my own ego, but at least I try more than I used to.

Makes sense. Sound is powerful. Which is why the Bible says God spoke things into existance. And science has shown that sound and frequencies affect the physical world and shapes.

A very interesting video. You have changed a lot, for the better I think
Language is powerful, it can be beautiful or ugly
Beauty has a massive effect on us. It is not a luxury it is a human need. Much like how an oppressive tower block of concrete apartments can feel uncomfortable (brutalism). A photograph of a traditional wooden cabin in Sweden or Swtizerland feels good to look at

I get what you're saying, but saying mean things wont necessarily ruin your ability to connect with people. As long as both people know that it's a joke or that they aren't really judging each other - insults can actually help you connect with people or strengthen the bond you already have with them. It really just depends on the personality types, how close they are, how confident they are, and so on. Context and intention matters a lot more than the words that you use, I would say. There might be exceptions, but I hope you haven't become so Christian that pranks and South Park is a gateway to murder in your opinion. When feminists try to police edgy jokes you have always been soooo good at explaining why edgy jokes are good and don't lead to r@pe. Are you saying the opposite now to some degree, or am I misunderstanding you? It was a very brave video to make, either way. Respect for that.
