Wow that's a high quality show with plenty of masterclass models to see! Such a museum is simply the ideal backdrop for it, great ambient. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to make this video!
They used to, until Munster went strangely political and decided to dedicate space to a Holocaust exhibit instead. While that's not necessarily bad, it doesn't exactly fit well with what is a technical tank museum and a museum focuses on much more than WWII.
@@Panzermeister36 I expect the (since then always morally superior) Germans therefore mothballed all those awful weapons wich made the Holocaust possible in the first place? Somehow I get a whiff of all to common hypocrisy...
I hope you see this. I just watched your video from a year ago on how you weathered a low sided gondola. It was, and is, a great tutorial. I am impressed by everything you did and I will enjoy doing my best to replicate your results. As far as graffiti is concerned. I will give it a go. I plan to make a mockery of it by using inoffensive words. As comical as I can come up with. I saw a graffiti mural once a while back with a whimsical green frog trying to clamber out of a "sea" of nonsensical alphabet soup. It wasn't on a train though. It was on some old garage in the back of a company.
I did enter a couple of models and my M-10 Achilles got 2nd place in AFVs with interiors. But I don't photograph my own models at shows so it's not in the video.
@@Panzermeister36 I did the same for many years, but my viewers forced me to change that policy :) I thought that they might know my models already and want to see other stuff, but it seems like people get a kick out of it to see your work embedded in a model show ambient as well. Congratulations for your success at the contest mate!
Yes, that is more common than you'd think at shows. People finish the model years ago and they don't bother to dust it off when they bring it to the show.
Nell'arte non si dovrebbe fare politica: supporto all'Ucraina e poi? La Palestina dove la mettiamo? Basta, ognuno fa i modelli che vuole, russi, cinesi, americani, etc.
It is not my model, so it doesn't matter to me if the builder had politics on their mind. It is not my business. It is the same as how it is not my business what colour someone paints their model or if they weather it "too much" to my eye. I can appreciate the model for what it is.
Superb video! CAPCON was a great show at a great venue.

Thank you Michael! It is indeed a super cool location to hold the model contest.
Couldn't agree more with you! Didn't they used to have a similar event in Munster?

My ducks are on youtube! yeeee!
They are eternal now 😁 I enjoyed seeing them at the show!
Congrats on your wiining ducks! (I came in 3rd. I had three winners, none of which are in this video)
I probably photographed them but many photos didn't turn out due to poor lighting in the museum.

My friend was there with his avro arrow entirly scratch build. Hope you saw it
I did see it! It was very cool, but sadly the museum lighting means I could not take a nice photo of it for the video.

Did you enter in the show? If so which was yours?

I will consider that next time :)
Congrats on second place! I did notice a few of my models. Thank you for showing them! :-)
Very cool thanks for sharing. Hopefully next year they’ll have a Ukrainian F-16 🤞
That would be pretty cool, or at least to do right now as a what-if like someone did a Canadian Saab Gripen :)
is it me or some of the models have dust as in real dust around them.
Yes, that is more common than you'd think at shows. People finish the model years ago and they don't bother to dust it off when they bring it to the show.
@@Panzermeister36 I guess that sucks if you'd enter in the "factory fresh" category 😁
