      In reality the air was dirty from coal smoke, there was still horse manure on the streets that smelled horrible, people -- if they survived infancy -- usually died before the age of 60, women just about everywhere were considered chattel (they just got the right the vote in places like the USA and UK), and what I am describing is how life was in advanced industrial economies. The world just finished one destructive world war and was preparing for another to break out in 15 years. It was nothing like the idealized life shown here. I do not think you would want to go back.

    Hihi, the Sidney Opera House was officially opened 50 years ago. The glass facade of the Amsterdam Concertgebouw is 35 years old. In several pictures, the cars are too modern. I'm sure there's more, but I stopped halfway. The ideas are nice, but the AI has a lot to learn.

    • @isaqueteixeiraobregon
      @isaqueteixeiraobregon Рік тому +7

      A parte turística do Rio de Janeiro ainda é bonita sim, claro que as favelas perto deixaram mais feio, afinal.... mas os turistas ainda amam visitar o Rio. Inclusive, as áreas turísticas do Rio são bem policiadas, vocês de outros lugares que pensam que o Rio subúrbio (onde se localiza boa parte da violência dos noticiários) é onde fica os pontos turísticos do Rio, e não são.
      Sem falar que todas as grandes cidades brasileiras são problemáticas, eu não considero uma tão melhor de longe que as outras.
      E o interior do EdoRJ é belíssimo .

    • @TommyTom008
      @TommyTom008 Рік тому +5

      @@isaqueteixeiraobregon não quis desmerecer o Rio, e sei que tem pontos bonitos e nem todos os lugares são violentos, eu escrevi "especially in Rio" porque se for ver os vídeos e fotos dos anos 20, 30 e 40 e comparar com hoje, é uma diferença absurda na estética, além do mais, é a cidade mais famosa e visitada do país. Outra coisa que eu acho feio do Brasil de hoje (isso não é exclusividade do Rio, mas sim do país inteiro) são as arquiteturas dos prédios, parecem caixotes com sacadas, lugares com muito lixo, fio de poste exposto, sendo que deveria ser subterrânea, que além de ser melhor para o desenvolvimento, trás uma beleza á mais. Tem pontos bonitos no Brasil, cidades muito bonitas com arquitetura alemã, portuguesa, suiça etc... Mas vendo vídeos das cidades do Brasil dos anos 40, era tudo lindo, ruas bem limpas, um ar de paz e felicidade, organização, ao menos foi a impressão que eu tive. Em fim, desculpem pelo texto enorme kkkk

    • @edgarofleuzenchastre4735
      @edgarofleuzenchastre4735 Рік тому +1

      @@isaqueteixeiraobregon Ele está certo. O Brasil inteiro teve uma enorme degradação estética após a segunda guerra, incluindo o Rio, cuja queda foi particularmente trágica, apesar de não ter sido a pior. E a culpa não é só das favelas e da violência, o problema já existia antes do boom da criminalidade. O Rio dos anos 70 já era significativamente mais feio do que o Rio dos anos 30. Prédio de vidro e commie block de luxo só são belos se você não conhece o que a cidade foi no passado. Claro que ainda existe alguma beleza, mas a queda desmedida dos padrões estéticos é inegável, inclusive nas áreas turísticas. Vide a catedral metropolitana.

    2:18 New Zealand looks more like 100 years forward than 100 years back. Were we that advanced back then? 🤣🤣🤣
    Good photo nonetheless!

    ملاحظة :السعودية كانت قبل 100عام دولة رجعية ليس لها تطور عمراني و بنائها من الحجر القديم و كان أسلوبها السكني هو البدوي الذي يرتكز على الخيام . و لكن تطورها بسبب امتلاكها النفط .!!!

    India is not a country of mosques, it's a country of temples. We are such a secular nation state that even ai perceives our country as predominantly Islamic. It's sad, but it's also something to he proud of as a hindu, that we have given way to such a tolerant culture.
    Things are changing now, however.
