Just a suggestion; please don't leave mom alone for a few days. My mom got cataract surgery last year but it got infected for some reason despite taking all the precautions. She should avoid heat; smoke; sunlight; water and any kind of stress. I wonder how she would manage alone?? At least till she recovers; bring her home or you stay with her. Rest you are very smart to defend everything as per your wish but nothing in this world is more important than our parents.
