This has the most beautiful melody for a chorus in all of BTS ballads. Something about it is just heart wrenching and then you add Jin’s raw emotions and his versatile vocal palette. This never fails to make me tear up when I want to have a cry session. BTS has really been good to my mental health. They helped me heal wounds but also helped me accept that some wounds will stay open - and that is ok.
Ahhh I love this comment. I have a separate playlist on Spotify for every mood I want to be in, and when I want to cry, I go to SoundCloud where Jin's songs and covers are. They're the perfect tearjerker for me.

My dad died on May 2021, my mom left 3 weeks after and I lost a best friend the following month, then my boyfriend also lost a grandfather, his mom got severely sick along with his actual grandfather and my brother was also grieving the loss of his gf's dad cuz he was a real father to my brother. Most of the events happened because of covid.
That virus really went hard on me and the people around me.
My father wasn't a good one not one bit. But i grieved the night we found out he died. But i never did again so that I could take care, support and comfort the 2 most important people in my life: my older brother and boyfriend of 5 years.
I used to be the type who always expressed what i felt honestly everytime. But this year turned me upside down and now I catch myself thinking "i dont really have to mention my thoughts" or "he's already struggling, he needs comfort". And it happens so often the past couple of months that I realized this december the year was ending and how was I??
Like, I'm thinking to myself, "how are you?"
And since listening to jin's songs specially this, i just burst into a release. And my god it's all so damn hard. It really is. It's just.
Yesterday, my rabbit is passed away. We have been together for 5 months.

Today I lost my beloved budgie. He stayed by my side for almost 8 years and the moments I spent with him were the best of my life. To be honest, I don’t know how I”ll be able to live without hearing his sweet melody. Maybe for other people he was just a regular pet, but for me he was my dearest friend. As someone who has neither friends or siblings, he was my only source of comfort in a lonely house. Thank you a lot for this song, Jin. I hope everyone who is griefing the loss of someone will be able to find peace. Rest well, Coco. You will always have a place in my heart.

same i started singing at the age of 4 but now I just turned 10 this February 2 and my voice cracks sometimes and my voice is the best at midnight lol i knew that this new year and christmas i just started and then i was like ok i like this one and then now i barely sing only sometimes and jin started like a bit late and his voice is too good i am so jelous
