A Month Of BLISS!!!! That would be so dope to be in India meditating for hours every day and seeing new scenery!!! Awesome! I'm going to India, New Zealand, Florida, Arizona and Hawaii this year that is on my bucket list!

I can't find the full episode anywhere and there is this one line I'm dying to remember that Alanis says about getting to the bottom of her essence

I dont think Himalayas can be way of life for anyone with a career. But the things that come with any Indian philosophy is 1) you are not your body, you are your soul 2) your soul is a part of the collective divine as opposed to born in sin 3) the whole world is one organism. Any ritual, exercise, mantra or practice in India usually compliments that core philosophy. e.g. Yoga/meditation would be internally feeling that oneness with the divine within and around you. Idols are discarded after worship because we are not our bodies. The dead bodies are burnt because of the same reason. Any weird thing you see in India, you can trace it back to these points. They are not as random as they look.
She knows exactly what she's talking about and unless you've found god you won't know what she means! Honestly I watched this years ago and I didn't know what the heck she was talking about. This past year I've become really spiritual and now everything she's saying is lining up so correctly to truth about the devine 😊 I love you Alanis
God/truth/the devine is accessible to everyone if they choose to tune into it and meditation is a great way to connect with it 😊
Only one month? Interesting that when you’re famous you only get a month. If you’re not famous, and without ties, you can a year out, two if you want.
I have just had an an intense insight into how materialistic and high on their own egos these two are, wearing their diamonds and shiny shoes talking about their month in India. Lmao
True. I think it's also what happens when you can't hold onto the enlightenment. You go back to the material world.

She needed a few folks around her encourage her to stay longer, go back, and immerse herself within nature and humble folks regularly. It looked good on her, her music and outlook changed. Fame is trap so precious few escape. She got what she sought; fame. And what she found in one months time will take the rest of her life to get back, if ever.
Her parents did her no favors. However, aging can be a blessing for many.
been to India...Where's the Bliss she experienced? All I felt was the immense pain for those children sleeping rough and fending for themselves, sickening child exploitation, terrifying nationalism..

david crane 'science' as you put it like it's a person doesn't understand the nature of consciousness. The nature of consciousness may very well be purely physical-only. Theres no evidence of the supernatural. But for your statement is literally untrue.

If you feel comfortable clinging to a superstition, so be it. But there's no evidence god exists, there's hundreds of contradictions in the bible, there's no evidence of supernatural healing, and there's no documented physical signs and wonders (like there once was according to scripture) but if clinging to a myth makes you feel good so be it.
