Hoover Turbopower 2 Autosense U2464 - After a FULL restoration.

This iconic 1990's Hoover vacuum cleaner is ready to go back together! We just need to refurbish the fully working replacement motor that was bought, and this Turbopower 2 is ready to be a very good vacuum cleaner once more.

Awesome video Sam. I do love these they clean so well, remember when my mom bought her first one, it was when the hoover free flights promotion was launched I have both turbo 2 and 3 both auto sense models and both with the permabag and the the turbo 3 has the stair hose

I do like one of the higher spec turbo 2s and the autosence is the best one.
A lot of companies since have adapted the autosence idea and some have made it work and some havent.
Only ever had one with a permabag though and would love to see another of that version.

I have the turbo 2 and 3 both with auto sense and both with the permabag system 2 still love them and they clean phenomenally well, if looked after the permabag is brilliant

I've not seen Sensotronic hepaflo bags, but if you remove the original bag holder, remove the original foam gasket that seals to the og bag card a 40mm waste pipe coupler fits where the foam gasket went perfectly then a Henry hepaflo fits on that (and the bag door closes as the original lock arm has been removed 👌). I did it on my system 10 and 40 before
