Please George Darko wrote the song, Ako te brofo, but Lee Duodu sang it. Initially, Nkansah was supposed to sing it but the engineer proposed that Lee Duodu sing it because of his superb voice. After the break up of the band, George Darko then formed his band and sang money palaver, obi abaayewa, etc. Lee Duodu also formed the Kantata band and sang akwankwantia, akpeteshie, etc
We are learning....we the young ones have to know the truth about the real owner of the hit song 'Akoo Te Brofo' Is it George Darko or Lee Duodu. Please can someone educate us on this iissue.
you need to write points on paper and hit them one after the other. Your commentary is terrible as you keep repeating yourself Also, the Picture of 3:05 (Man in suit) is not George Darko the musician. Its an economics professor at Kings College in London who is still alive. This is terrible work that you have done. George Darko is a common name in Ghana. Dont just publish anyone you see on google. This is really wrong RIP George.... I remember my early 80s in Hamburg within the Ghana community and in the late to early 1990s. George was the real deal along with Ben Brako, Lee Duodu, CK Mann, Jon K.. That was good music
Hmmmm, may his soul rest in peace. He was a great musician and he really contributed a lot to the music industry.
