the 7 drop that gives +10/+10 to the tavern’s stats are bugged so they become sticky and don’t get removed by bramblewitch or things like that- idk if it got fixed when they fixed (?) its interaction with magnetic minions
The weird thing is that either they fixed it really quick or the bug is fairly incosistent. When I played against this with Champion of Sargeras on my board, I guarantee you, it worked just fine. It was pretty early on the patch as well.
Just to clarify, bramble is not supposed to remove any buffs. It just sets a minion's stats to 3/3. So an aura buff like "Minions in tavern have +20/+20" would still get added. Similar to how Eternal Knight interacted with Vol'jin's hero power. The odd thing that they're pointing out is selfless should have been a 23/23 after bramble attacked-- because 3/3 + 20/20 = 23 but it was 63/63. So it seems they bought 3 selfless that had the 20/20 passive from Champion of Sargeras (CoS). And for some reason (bug?) it combined and gained stats (20/20*2) it probably shouldn't have. Those stats (the 20/20*2) were still somehow coded to CoS' passive leaving selfless as a 63/63 (20/20*2 + the 20/20 passive because CoS was still up). Which actually was a big deal because selfless would've died as a 23/23.
@@Grass_Inspector I still think that "Minions in tavern have +20/+20" should no longer be an aura effect when the minion is no longer in the tavern. I understand if, for instance, an undead that gets turned into a 3/3 keeps your "your undead minions have +whatever attack" buff, but the tavern buffs should only be an aura as long as the minion is in the tavern.
i guess they coded tier 7 buff guy the same way they did lingering effects like undead buffs "wherever they are", since continuous buffs cannot be removed (they are separate from the minion) and static buffs can be removed (they statically change the minions stats) i wonder if all tavern continuous buffs dodge bramble, since i think its the first minion that does this sort of thing? its definitely easier for coding purposes/memory/possibly lag as u wouldnt have to have each tavern minion gain a buff on each refresh and instead have a static continuous buff affecting the tavern as a whole, it also makes it easier when swapping minions into the tavern but i guess these are ??unintended?? consequences
I love the scam we have in this expansion. It doesnt feel as cheap as before, they are practically tech cards with their own downsides but can constitute a build if you are smart enough to line them up properly.
@@arthena2130 yeah but they are not oppressive like pre nerf queen was or old amalgadon where you eithrr had these or you lost. They are tech cards, maybe they snipe a strong card or two and thats that. I prefer the new tech cards than lets say old maexxna or amalgadon of tier 6.

Nomi is a frustrating card because it’s typically bait. You can’t usually pick it up until it’s so late in the game that it’s too late to use efficiently. If you buy trashpanda, it’ll generally cost you the game at high mmr.
Cause now you have way better scaling units. Nomi was good at the times when you won your elemental games with 50+\50+ stats. Now it’s nothing. You can get a board of 200/200 elementals now with rock rock and trumpet and you don’t even have to buy shit. You just play cards, scale and tip 40/50 gold to a bartender every turn. Now compare that to what Nomi can do. Nomi is trash tbh. Very unique unit that can be useful in very specific situation (depends what turn it is, depends what lobbi we are talking about, depends what mmr bracket we talking about, what’s your current board, how much health you got, what hero you playing etc etc etc). After rock was released, I’ve picked Nomi plenty of times and… I lost all of those games. It’s just slow. Nomi looses to undeads, how pathetic is that? I just skip it when I see it in shop now, just like I always skip 4drop quill taunt unit (duo) even if I play quills. It’s the worst quill unit for like a year which needs reconstruction (like make it NOT taunt and “whenever you cast a gem on another quill cast it on this unit). Also do the same to Agam to make menagerie valuable - “when you cast gem on this unit, cast it on 3 different types as well). It makes sense since gems can scale nowadays. Nomi will be better if golden one becomes normal one, and new golden will be +4/+4. And yet still I’m not sure if it’s going to outscale rock rock scaling ability

@@Grass_Inspector Is selfless in tavern for the aura to apply or is it on the board?

I think they added too much scam
True
The venomous reborn murloc gets on my nerves
You have to have these hard counters for the new high value cards
