- How I attach a 3 lame spaulder to an enclosed rerebrace for an integrated finish as seen on a lot of 1350-1400 English style effigies.
It's been an age since my last video and I hope this is the start of getting a few more together regularly as I wanted to do before falling ill.
This video is a bit rough around the edges as I wanted to get something moving again, so please forgive that, future ones will be a bit more professional looking.
Nice to be back at it.
Great to see you making videos again!
Thanks for the knowledge!!!! We missed you for a while but I’m glad you’re back! Hopefully I’ll figure out grieves eventually 😂
I started armoring last year and watched through every single one of your videos. They helped me out so much but I didn't think I was going to see any new ones from you! Really awesome surprise. Hope you're doing well and maybe it's time for me to pick up the hammer again.

A very pleasant surprise to see you again. Definitely one of the best channels about armoring...
Ahh shucks, thanks. There aren't too many of us out there and 'm not as skilled as some of the others, but I'll do my best.
It’s a whole package kinda thing, your speech and mannerisms. It’s like you could be one of my neighbors only way cooler.
So is it spaulder or spaudler?
I've always been told Spaulder ... but then I've been taught by English folk (myself included) trying to say the name of something that's probably renaissance French or Latin ... so I couldn't say for sure. Which is why I go for shoulder cop from time to time.
@@GreenleafWorkshop A good idea. I think i'll start saying shoulder cop too.
Greetings from France ! Glad to see you're back. Can't wait to learn more !
