Aaron b69 When you’re trying to find out which ones are purely Male you have to take away the ones that have both Male and Female attributes from just the Male Attributes, so you do the 52 - 47 to get 5, then you work out purely female so you do the same thing but with the female bit, which is 63 - 47 to get 16, next you add them two up so 5 + 16 = 21 and lastly you add them two to the 47 because that’s both Male and Female Attributes, so 21 + 47 = 68. Hope that helps out!:)

you have to think of it like a venn diagram. male attributes and female attributes being 2 circles and common space is the one with both attributes. common space is 47. whole female attributes circle is 63. So species with only female attributes is 63 - 47 = 16. (63 in total have female attributes and 47 have female and male attributes, so 16 have only female attributes). Similarly, species with only male attributes is 52 - 47 = 5. So total number of species is species with male attributes + species with female attributes + species with both male and female attributes... 16 + 5 + 47 = 68!!
