Great video and commentary Tim!! Awesome job with the race as well. Looking strong out there!
Thanks Man - great race from you as well, sorry I missed the attack! Safe healing and we’ll be sure to be ready for Easton!
Hopefully I’ll see you on Monkey Hill!!
@@wstewlock You know it!
Well an adventure for sure getting outside. It’s amazing how many Cat 5 races end up with a crash somewhere during the race. Glad to see you found a strip of grass to land on and no serious issues. Your numbers looked very similar to Zwift numbers but guessing the anxiety level was way up. Good luck next event Tim and try and get to the front and stay away from some potential chaos.
Thanks Chris - indeed, it's quite different than Zwift, that's for sure! Kept having to remember to steer ;-)
What a heartbreaker, to go down on the last turn of the last lap I mean c’mon!! Haha glad you made it out in one piece.
All in all, was maneuvering for position the main reason you weren’t as aggressive here than a Zwift race?
I know - but good to know that I was right there up until the end.
I don't typically have an attacking mentality, so I think it's tough for me to get into that mindset, even when I'm planning to. I think you're right in this case though, I was so focused on sticking to wheels and trying to stay upright, that race tactics was barely on my mind!
Be safe for cycling.🙏
👍
What looked to have happen is the red jersey rider hit his inside pedal on the pavement, flipping his rear wheel into the air.
Could be - it was tough to tell from my vantage point. I talked to the red jersey rider and he said his wheel slipped, could have over-corrected. Luckily he was OK too, just lost some skin.
I think thats what happened. He was pedaling through almost every corner. Very strong rider, he attacked and counter attacked. Great race and great commentary.
@@mikecorb1974 Thanks Mike - indeed - he (and you!) were killing it all race.
