The worse thing is that the big bug was just that a big bug from the Swarm, not the Aeon/God of the Swarm. Even worse is that it took like 5-6 Aeons in a tag team effort to seal not kill just seal the Swarm Aeon. Even Herta theorize that the Swarm may come out of they're seal again in the future.

The big bug isn't even the Emanator - which Ruan Mei tried to resurrect - the Starcrusher Swarmking Skaracabaz. That thing apparently destroyed stars to use them as incubators for the Swarm, hence its name. Swarm Mothers are probably just local foci of the Swarm's C2, like Zerg Overlords in StarCraft. No reason the Emanator or the Aeon - the Imperator Insectorum - would descend on just one of innumerable worlds they were simultaneously attacking. Glamoth was just one of so many to fall.

The thing is, the swarm disaster in SU is quite literally "just" a simulation of that horrible event. The one we see here is just ONE Mother Swarm among countless ones roaming across the galaxy. The one created by Ruan Mei is also just a SIGNIFICANTLY weaker version of the real "Skaracabaz" Emanator who wreaked havoc in the distant past. It isn't even as big as the actual emanator. Our closest encounter to a Mother Sting was when we got eaten by one back when we first met Argenti, and that one was lying dormant- acting like an Ambush Predator.
The Propagation multiplied rapidly and destroyed countless planets... Ouroboros, the Aeon of Voracity, ate entire star systems infested by these bugs just because the two forces met and the bugs kept annoying THEM. According to SU, their constant battles and encounters destroyed two thirds of the life that existed in the universe. That being said, this entire thing was getting out of hand and multiple Aeons banded together just to get rid of Tazzyronth. Qlipoth eventually have had enough and hammered the f*cker down, stripping THEM of their power and imprisoning THEIR kin in Amber.
The events caused by the Swarm Disaster also gave birth to an Aeon a lot of people might be familiar with. This was Xipe, who rose into Aeonhood sometime at the climax of the disaster and consumed Ena in the process (With Aha might contributing something to this).
Even after all this, the bugs still remain and Tazzyronth isn't completely gone. There's a good chance that THEY might return in the future, and probably one of the main antagonists we will have to get rid off before we proceed with Nanook.
(To think all of this was caused by a single living creature who felt lonely after their race was annihilated to near extinction...)

the scene when the swarm mother pulled up reminds me of that one scene in "All Quiet on the Western Front" when the soldiers saw a tank for the first time in their lives where the only choice they have is to run, hide, or die.

The Iron Cavalry were engineered to fight the swarm, probably forgoing longevity and lifespan to be efficient soldiers. They are all based off of "Titania," their "Empress." Empress is in quotes, because this was actually a false idea implanted to make the Cavalry subservient to the original humans. Titania was simply the main entity used by the scientists to control them.
Ironically, the longer Glamoth fought the Swarm, the more they became like the enemy. Soon, the skies were blotted out not by bugs, but by the military might of the Glamoth Empire.
How the fall of Glamoth happened is not exactly clear. Some say the Swarm destroyed them all, but others think that through decades of fighting the Swarm, the Empire lost its identity and ideals to continue existing, and all that was left for them was their war-torn homeland.
Either way, the SAM units continued fighting the Swarm, with or without the Empire standing. That is all they knew how to do.
Firefly drifted in space for an unknown amount of time before being found by Kafka, possibly even centuries.

Pretty ironic that they're named after an insect, given what ended them all. Tazzyronth, the Aeon of Propagation, after all, is known as the Imperator Insectorum.

    Firefly became "the planet" Glamoth..
the planet might knowing it's going to get consumed by the swarm, so it answer the firefly cry, and giving all living energy to firefly, thus her power went up beyong limits. she destroyed the last wave of swarm, along with the planet.
Titania is the name of the Empress.

Swarm disaster is ironically is the only time Hsr goes Horror (Exception to Easter eggs). It took 6 Aeons And gave birth to two Aeons.
Destruction (The Planet where the person who becomes the Aeon of Destruction was Destroyed by The Propagation and Abundance (Abundance was created/Influence during the middle of swarm disaster)
Also Firefly is floating in Space for Hundred of Centuries. after Glamoth was destroyed. Before The Aeons Do something about the Propagation. There's theory that the power that Firefly got is Abundance. Which make more sense why there's three suddenly growing, and she able to survived in space for centuries.

crazy how that was only one of the many, many swarms. the swarm mother was massive, but it is tiny compared to the actual emanators who could destroyed entire star systems.
we know that tayzzyronth is already long gone at this point in time, so the swarm wasn't even at its peak. insane.

Based on the planet animation, actually Firefly fought again and again and again. The planet ended up broken because of the sheer scale of explosive combat power for certain duration of time. After that, Firefly just experienced stasis together with the remnants of broken planet until Elio found her and told Kafka to retrieve her among the debris

Nope. Its just that they were all clones/ or templated from Titania , their empress (Not existent btw based on the IG lore). So technically, before the other clone died, she kneeled as respect to her majesty (which in this case, subbed by Firefly).

about the glamoth no longer exist part...
If youre created and programmed to fight the swarm, then you fight without even having the glamoth
about the personality aspect, you could argue that if they have one that they will fight stronger together because of the empathy for each other as a team, if theyre just robots they wouldnt care for each other.
The Last part with Kafka is tricky, because (if i m right) Firefly was the first one recruited by Elio, and that scene cant be directly after firefly fought the swarm, because that would mean that kafka is some thousends of years old

The worst part was that the empress never existed at all. Glamoth was a real plannet, but the empire was fictional, just a reason to be able to control the clones to do what their creators wanted.

    • @PositiviteaTheFirst
      @PositiviteaTheFirst 7 місяців тому

The Empress was real but she was a puppet to Glamoth's ruling council, only used as a tool to control the Iron Cavalry. She was kept in captivity and towards the end of the war, she wanted out.
