Sorry if the audio is a bit patchy! First time recording in a few weeks, taking a semi break from UA-cam in January, but wanted to cover the Raids Launch and give my thoughts. Think Raids missed the mark for me, just a bundle of confusing and frustrating mechanics with the damage cap, heavy pierce & block damage on later nodes and limited daily revive claim pretty much forcing you to stagger your way through raids slowly throughout the week unless you want to Whale out at 200 Units/pop for Revives.
Hope to see better Raids in the future. AQ Score is insane from them and the Glory Rewards you get are OP tho. Rewards feel in a better place with the buffed Glory Store, but for me this doesn't make up for the poor Gameplay experience imo.

Fs, the health bars are too bad it's so waste of time and idk much about the rewards but I'm sure it's bad
I understand the damage cap and enrage, since they want to force cooperation, but did they NEED to add a death on timeout? Let's be honest, raids look like what they were complaining Everest Content was becoming last year when they nerfed revive farming. Just keep popping revives to win.

That’s why they need to give out 4-5 free revives a day. That exact reason. I won’t pay 180 tickets and 200 unit revives every month. Granted you can use the small ones and regular AQ pots. Still way expensive.
Screw this - I’m not incorporating abyss-style fights into my AQ play - I struggle for time as it is…..
Bruh, they want me to sit there and punch the same dude for an hour in necropolis and the next mode is sit there and punch the same dude for three hours and you can’t even one shot him if you play correctly?

Gorr is incredible, 6 million sp3 dmg on the third fight right after the first sp3 which was 1.8 million dmg, so 8 million dmg very quickly
Looking at the amount of health wouldn't it just be better to either not have a damage cap or have a higher damage cap. I've played raids in other games with a certain cap on damage or just go in and do as much as possible which in turn adds to the entire teams score on the leader board. This is the beginning so hopefully they're checking the data and make improvements later so it actually becomes more fun because I do like the idea of raids
Thanks for getting a live look at Raids out quickly. This isn't for my alliance as we're too laid back particularly when it comes to AQ. I agree the damage cap is problematic to me. It's one thing to not get the boss down because of not playing well. But for all team members to hit the damage cap and still not get the boss down in one day without additional spending on revives doesn't seem at all appealing.
I think it should be that champs auto revive in a certain way maybe like incursions or arena but in a lesser time, like an hour to revive or you have the option to not wait and use revive
When I envisioned raids I looked at it as 1 big boss that everyone can attack and do as much damage as possible.

Hulkbuster, hulkling, titania and Doom absolutely crush this content. Very easy to get 10% take downs on most of the fights. Trying ultron tomorrow.
I'm doing it with my 6* R4 Ultron and he's working great. Having a few issues on maestro though

What's the point of a 100% heal with perfect gameplay but then we take down 10% and immediately die kinds defeats the purpose they wanted this to be Rift Raids in Mirrorverse it's so much worse we don't have to wait in Rift raids 10 ppl can take there own Gate keeper in this case Kang and they can take him all the way down but it counts as 10% off his total health but they wouldn't die or have to revive this feels like a long money grab and not as much fun as Mirrorverse raids.😊

Yo seatin in raids there’s all of a sudden a item cap that wasn’t there before and it’s screwing a lot of people over and this was without warning is it intentional or a mistake with compensation

it’s been 3 years since the man himself, seatin, man of legends! has made a tier list. since this tragic stop of enlightening truth the world has lost direction. the world now spins on a 90 degree axis and multiple wars have been started, such as the war israel, the war in ukraine, and countless more. millions of people have suffered and been slaughtered while as billions of units have been spent all hoping to fill the empty hole left by the absence of seatins tier list. seatin. if you’re seeing this i need you, the world needs you, and your simply the only with the power and knowledge to solve this.
So confusing. Can someone explain to me how the role charges work and what they are for? Does it mean one person shouldn’t be spam reviving? Are the 3 people supposed to take turns doing the fight?
Yeah , 3 players need to take turn. It is a cooperation game. U can still brute force through the fight as a 1 man army , but it will take you ages to chunk down 100+ million hp

I like the challenge of it. It definitely needs some tweaks which I think they can/said they'd be open to doing after getting feedback. I think the 10% cap should be only on the final boss. The revives could stay as is if they made that change. Question to anyone that might know for sure, do you have to go in any certain attacking order? Example: Vanguard, Tactician, Assault. Or can Assault go twice then Tactician once then Vanguard and it doesn't make a difference?
Are we supposed to follow Assault > Vanguard > Tactician order for 6 days? Or we can just go whenever we want?

i love your voice and think you need to move your mic to the middle so when you focus or comment your mic will not cut out so much. been watching for awhile and appreciate your effort.
Improvement: you take the 10%, the fight is over but you keep your current life, but another role has to fight and the game itself restricts the role to fight automatically!
Exactly, or your health increases to like 50% or something if you survive. The need to use a revive looks a massive pain

7* R1 venom was doing work for me
Venom is alright, but not amazing because his Bleed Debuffs don’t scale
If they did, he’d be insane, but I tested him on CCP Beta and found him a bit lacking because so much of his damage is Bleeds and he misses those
Although the Node Synergy with all the unique debuffs means he’s really easy to ramp up and get charges on the boss

Pretty damn good do paths that open up weekly claim juicy rewards and can do all Threat levels.
Just downed maestro and got 15k 7 star shards, not bad at all
I've gotten 2 t6ccs and some shards and I just got to ultron. Rewards are thicccc. And 45k glory xD

If they do 3 things this mode will be cool.
1.) reduce cost so everyone can earn a free entry a month
2.) double the free revives at least(4 a day)
3.) don’t let them get enraged. If you are good enough to go past 3 minutes or 10% it should be possible.

Maybe have 3 Paths each with two choices from ASSAULT/VANGUARD/TACTICIAN (to make sure only two players per path can still get all 3 benefits). Also, tiered difficulty per raid event will solve the whole >>> not everyone will be able to play due to difficulty(Everyone Can Play now;))
Oh! & instead have each path have to complete missions so that the OTHER PATHS get additional bonus(es) ON TOP of the A/T/V thing ;)
… And another thing, ... Bonus(es) can be gained by defeating Mini-Bosses ( always pulling from monthly quests end bosses, this tying RAIDS to the monthly stuff ;)) along the path (say like two mini bosses per then a BIG BOSS., repeat, etc.?

I assigned people and their rolls and I thought it's gonna be fun in my eyes but all of bg1 decides that everyone should go left and I told myself once they finished it I'll leave that alliance
Should have discussed it with them beforehand, instead of just telling them to do it - they more than likely didn’t see an impossible situation as ‘fun’

My battle group did 100% few days ago, but the game shows only 63%. I hope its only a visual bug and kabam would actually give us rewards for 100%

the damage cap is the biggest L. love the idea of grinding and earning damage for large health pools but its almost just too much and not worth
So is it better to get close to the damage cap, but not hit it, so that you don’t get ko’d? Doesn’t seem like fun
I think you’ll get KO’d anyway if you time out, so you just gotta hit it and die

on my first run, I didn’t hit the dmg cap, timed out and came out with full health (didn’t even take 50% health penalty for timing out). Maybe a bug
I looked at simula’s vid from yesterday and he was ko’d after timing out. So I guess I got lucky with a bug

To be honest, I don’t even understand why this mode was added, the game is already full of activities, it would be more logical to add some other opportunity to collect something that does not necessarily affect the gameplay.

The Raids are awesome. Something new is always good. Only main issue is the 10% cap they have on the defenders. I would take out the cap or make it like 20% or 30% for the first 3 bosses then the last boss 10%
Its a long grind it seems unless you just put in all your items and spend units. I like it but the 10% is BS if you ask me.
I still cant believe we’re at rank 3, 7 Stars and they haven’t even been out for a year.. 😂

These raids just seem crazier then Necropolis but the rewards aren't equal to Necropolis but these health pools are 100 million over Necropolis health pools 😂.
Difference between necropolis and raids is necropolis is solo content. Raids is group content
Larger health pools. But you’re also dealing boosted damage

Why is every new piece of content so difficult. I want to keep playing to have fun but so far shit like this doesn’t look any fun
You gotta understand that the player base is huge, not every piece of content is targeting the entire player base. They NEED to make some content (necropolis and raids) that specifically targets and challenges the end game players. Some people have been playing this game for 9 years, and have beat everything in game. If you don’t give a reason for your endgame players to keep playing, then you no longer have a game.
Endgame players might get 2 maaayyybe 3 pieces of content in a year. While the rest of the community literally has the entire game (story quest), monthly EQ, side quests, battlegrounds, incursions, AQ, Arenas. Literally everything. Stop thinking you’re meant to be able to participate in every single drop AS SOON as it comes out, play at your own pace and you’ll enjoy yourself. Heck I’ve been playing for over 8 years and I’m only now able to “sort of” hang with end game players. Did a necropolis completion run this month and that’s the soonest I’ve been able to participate in end game content. I’ve never done abyss, and I’ve yet to explore LoL. Don’t worry. Your time will come. Just keep grinding.
