    A $1000 buy in and first only pays $18K .. so an 18x win IF you win the whole thing. Doesn’t seem too great

      It's still a 17k profit. No one can stop you in winning a satellite to this event for $10-$100. Also this event doesn't have 1k runners so it's "easier" to get to the top so 18x is decent

    • @burneraccount6130

      Shows only 35 runners in the first clip so 18x is a more than fine payout 🤷‍♂️

    I always say that any top 3 finish in online tournaments, is where it's at. Always a nice chunk of change.. when you only finish like 6th or 7th, sure it's something.. but just enough for more buyins basically, usually not an amount you can cash-out. Nice run Jamie.

      i haven’t had a top 3 finish in so long… this is underrated. getting 8th/9th/final table bubbling after deep runs hurts so much

    • @tqsuited
      @tqsuited Рік тому

      @@user-uk9pv9bt8g Exactly, it feels like a wasted opportunity. I can get over it as long as I played ok, found a standard spot that didn't hold/had the best of it preflop etc. Still hurts at the time.

    How is the A5s a slam dunk 4bet against Sergio there.. he’s 2nd smallest stack at the table and shouldn’t be 3betting very often given ICM implications

    I hate JJ so bad, they ALWAYS get me in trouble, they just always look just good enough to end like that, I started a new strategy ;D.. flat, and setmine or fold them, I know its variance and flipping is part of it.. but when you play 7 hours and are in top 15, to rip it with JJ against AQ AK for double up is just sooooooo hurtful when the K shows.

    To me if I have JJ and been raised by the CL at 3 left and I covered the 3rd I just call and see what happen on flop..smallball on this spot its the better way to stay alive. No gamble no futur yep but to have a X8 on 1K whereas I can take X11/18 I become nit

      That's why good players can completely run over guys like you. JJ against an aggressive chip leader is a slam dunk 4bet jam

      @@DAVIDEMARBELLA lmao do you even understand the concept of icm?? 😂😂 he can have all kinds of hands Jaime CRUSHES in addition to hands that have good equity against a hand like JJ that you deny by jamming - but of course you already know that because you play smallball like a scared money little fish 🤣 rip donk 🫏
