I love the fact that you and Jake are looking into the tiny house lifestyle. My partner and I have lived in our sole-built tiny house for about five years now. It’s about 240sq ft. My one suggestion would be to stay or AirBnb some tiny houses before choosing to go this lifestyle. By temporarily staying in different tiny houses, you can pick and choose which features you enjoyed, and avoid the ones you don’t. It gives you both a small snippet if you can manage living in such a small space with someone for a longer period of time. It’s a challenge, but we’ve found it so rewarding and worth the extra work.
I’d follow your content wherever you’d take it. Your aesthetic is so calming, cheerful and beautiful. I’m also amazed by all the things you re interested in, as I’ve been really getting into anthrolopological equity, RV /van life living, urban homesteading, communal living without the doomsday prepper vibes and it’s really cool to see the beginnings of new directions you’re taking in your medium. You just bring me joy. Thank you! ❤
For my brown sugar latte I just add 1/2 a spoon full of brown sugar and a couple shakes of cinnamon. Top it off with oat milk. No salt. It’s delicious!
I LOVE finding ways to make tedious/difficult tasks more enjoyable. My fave rn (as a teacher) is to grade at the beach. I will go to Paradise Cove, ask them to sit me up front with a view of the ocean, eat a yummy meal (with a nonalcoholic fun drink) and grade the hours away. I get some peace, the ocean breeze, yummy food, AND a productive grading sesh.
I’ll be in charge of breakfast! Grits, eggs, pancakes, French toast, corned beef hash, diced potatoes, quiche etcccccc And also landscaping/decor! 😂 making the common spaces feel cozy and inviting…and giving ppl ideas for organizing/decorating their personal homes
Setting out to do one task and ending up doing ten has to be the 30-something equivalent of shopping as a 20-something. At the end you're like....Hoooow did we end up here?
If I were in a community group, I would like to host a crafting club, start composting, and also set up a community “store” where people can share tools, knowledge or swap tools, clothing, etc. 😊 let’s make it a eco-friendly community 🙌🏻
14:36, I've read, played and watched too many thrillers to know there's a thin line between a commune and a cult. Lol, jokes aside. I had delegating work, I'd never survive in group projects like that! I'd probably annoy everyone because of this 😅

Though sometimes if I catch myself before I go too far off track and say to myself, “Stay focused” sometimes I get lucky. LOL. BTW- I’ve noticed lately you have increased the amount of text in your videos. No shade but it is a little distracting (i.e. in the thrift shop) I couldn’t enjoy the thrift with me portion because I was reading the text. I’m not sure if you have heard this but I just wanted to mention. Love your videos so let’s not get it twisted. ❤
if i lived on your commune, i’d want to be in charge of the dog den. or just the household pets like care center. just wanna play with and pet cute floofs all day and tend to their needs. also would be the resident baker because i make the best baked goods, no competition. catch me gardening too, and just making sure everybody’s little area is happy and clean and aesthetic, i got you in the interior design area!
Taxes can be so stressful! I typically prefer to do them later in the evening while it's really quiet, and I can focus on what I'm doing uninterrupted. Brown Sugar in coffee is so good. I'd suggest skipping the salt. Not only do I want to own a tiny home, preferably on a foundation, because I want to own some land, but I'd also like to have a camper van for road trips and hurricane evacuations since I'm in a hurricane prone area.

The UA-cam channel love, morgan has videos where she puts a tasks list on the screen with lofi beats, for example, her slow Wednesday lofi beats video. If I feel a burst of motivation I HAVE to take it because they are few and far between, so I often will do a bunch of random tasks instead of relaxing if the inspiration takes me lol

I'm hardcore a "I always start a task and end up doing 10 other tasks" kinda person, turns out it was my ADHD (diagnosed at 29 lol)!! Of course not diagnosing, but as it's always been underdiagnosed in girls and in POC; might be worth looking into if other criteria apply to you as well! Getting my dx helped a TON and get me on the path to regulate silly lil dopamine to make me focused lol
My part I would love to either be in the garden or helping with hosting since I am a good helper. Would love to do that one day.😭 I gotta bring my mainecoon cat though. He’s my child.🥺

Yesterday I started to clean up art supplies, next minute I am searching for a pair of sandals under the guest room bed. I don't know how it happens. I can focus on work once I start though.
