In this video, I compare the new 2022 version verses the 2019 version to see if there are any differences.

Is there a way to connect a stereo pair to the tv with a cable? A completely wireless setup causes some hickups in certain apps (disney+ etc)
Yes if you get a splitter for left and right you should be good. Watch my other videos of a breakdown of other Alexa devices you can manage them with.

I got the ECHO STUDIO and ECHO SUB yesterday. After a lot of issues connecting I finally got the SUB to pair with the Studio. It worked great and sounded fantastic. I have Amazon Music as my service. Well this morning I told the echo to play a song and it wouldn't play it through the STUDIO I could only hear the bass of it playing through the SUB. Any idea what is going on or how to fix it?
I would try restarting the all the devices. I've had the same issue at the beginning but it sorted itself out after a while. Maybe with a restart this may push an update to your devices.

Is the ARC already built in if you have a Fire Smart TV?
Not sure but I'm guessing so as the technology has been out for quite a long time. You should see the ARC written on the HDMI output.
Is it really worth buying? As compared to bar speakers without alexa?
If you have other automated devices in your home then yes they are worth having. For the price and the quality of audio I would advise to at least try them. You have 30days to return to Amazon if you don't like them.

Am I right in saying that the new version is not listed as new on Amazon website? I mean I only can see the one listed on there and it does not mention that it's been updated?
When it initially release the was promoted as the 2022 version. What I realized now it that we have to look for the generation version when these companies release something new.
I've connected the optical cable to the tv audio out but I can’t get any audio from the echo studio. I could find any input select on the app. Any ideas?
Do you have your TV set as optical out for the audio output selection?

I think you should of used amazon music as just streaming off UA-cam is much lower quality plus you don't get dolby atmos or hifi

From what I remember when I first bought the studio, they had a white version on offer too. I decided against it cos it would look unsightly once the dust and smudges start building up😢

All depends on you colour scheme. I think then white does look for more sleek.
