There should be a completed financial literacy class that is required before being approved.
It has the feel of a reverse mortgage, but not a steady check every month, more as a take what you need when you need it deal. But In a nation of financial illiterate people who are maxing out credit cards Christmas shopping while at the same time hiding their cars from the repo man..
Now issuing a card that draws against the equity in your home seems like it's asking for trouble.

Process is very much pain.
I have applied this card and initially pre-approved.
Later submitted my application and gave the approval with 12* percent with 100K
Taken the notary and notified us after a week that we are not able to approve.

So this is basically a card that gives you a large purchase you can’t pay each month and in return you get a low APR in which you will accumulate interest 🤔 interesting
Not sure of the advantage here. Most home equity lines of credit have card access, check book access and cash access at branches with no fee. Why would you pay a 2.5% to consolidate an credit card debt with Aven when you can do it with a regular HELOC with no fee. And lots of them are available with no origination and have full online applications.
There is a ton of fees associated with taking out a HELOC, this has no fees or annual fees. For example I need 40k to do some home repairs. I’d end up paying 5-10% in fees for a regular HELOC.
why does it require a robot arm? Online notaries exist already...you don't need a robot signature

Not sure why anyone with credit cards would opt for 7.99% HELOC loan. Aren't HELOCs around 4 or 5%?
according to my research 9.49% is the current rate for HELOC. (OAC)
