Killer dust is most likely a dust who killed EVERYTHING as in the cannon dust au there was some survivors left who he helped transport to the omega timeline though this is a dust also made the deal with Chara most likely after breaking frisk though to his previous insanity before this is just a bit more LV’d up aggressive killer
But as killerdust stated in the fight, he can't feel anything. That also includes negative and positive emotions and feelings, therefore nightmare can't regain his stamina through killerdust since nightmare lives off of negative feelings and emotions. If nightmare can't live off of that through killerdust, then nightmare is bound to lose.
good animation, though if Nightmare was canonical, then killerdust wouldn't even have a chance, since canonical Nightmare can only be hurt by attacks filled with positive emotions, and the only creature who owns such attacks is Nightmare's brother Dream (the Guardian of Positive Emotions if anyone doesn't know, Nightmare is the Guardian of Negative Emotions), other attacks can erase his body, but Nightmare will recover after any attack (excluding Attacks filled with positive Emotions) + considering what Killer did, the au is probably overflowing with the energy of negative emotions, which would also strengthen Nightmare
considering he isnt being controlled by nightmare he probably still has erase which shouldve been the ending tbh,, (and also if everyone in the au is DEAD theres no positive or negative energy and killer apparently doesnt feel anything as he says himself)

Or Killer killed dust and whatever what fandoms think about killer dust transformation. But as a former Undertale au fan. Killer dust will get easily dogwalked by nightmare. He can’t regenerate if his entire body is dissolved from Gaster blaster beams, because he would have nothing to regenerate from
