Watching your trigger videos has saved me time trying to read the PDF manual on the scopes I just bought. Very informative. I'm not too far after you in time. I recall thinking how impractical a computer made from flip flop boards would be. In the Navy, the submarine ballistic missile computer was made of many approximately 3 inch high modules and 4K core memory. The Apple Ii Plus came out just after I started college - 48K RAM and dual 5-1/4 inch floppy drives. A hard drive was too expensive at around $4K as I recall. My rent then was about $200 near Cal Poly, Pomona, CA. How things have changed with this MSO5000 scope with 8GSa/s - makes it the best for a hobbyist like I am in retirement.
